Das Komplex, aka Marcin Łukaszewicz, is super happy to be slow, and to make records, and build ships, or whatever it is that he does. Rumor has it, Henry built the Ostbahnhof with his bare hands. Before that he was making music for twenty happy-go-lucky years. This is his first offering for Love On The Rocks. It's sublime, it's soft, and it wants you to fall in love, at night, back in the days, under the electric light of your favorite dancefloor, with two major jams on the A-side, and a consciousness-altering, dancefloor-destroying, 13-minute disco trip on the other.

Catz 'n Dogz present Das Komplex's All For Love on their raw and refined imprint, Step. This comes in the follow up to records from A1 Bassline, Eduardo De La Calle, Andre Kronert and the label owners themselves. Hailing from Koszalin, Poland, Das Komplex is undoubtedly an artist of many talents - a full-time architect by trade, he has released material on Father And Son Records And Tapes label and also offered up the extolled and coveted sixth pressing on the Step imprint back in August 2015, Universe (STEP 006EP). His return marks the first foray into long-play format for Step and allows Das Komplex to stretch his legs across eight masterful disco grooves. "Dżem" kicks things off to a sunny start with sizzling guitar licks and softly pattering bongos before the slick Italo-tinged "Obelisk" and the richly atmospheric "Redukcja Dysonansu Poznawczego" follow up. The project spreads out towards the jubilant and dreamy "All For Love" which leads into "Brukiew" - an introverted but ultimately feel-good conclusion that wraps up a beautifully balmy collection and another coup for Step Recordings.

Spell "PETS" backward to get "STEP." Spell "STEP" forward to find PETS going back to basics. STEP is the vinyl-only label from the founders of PETS, Catz 'n Dogz, that highlights the rawest forms and root functions of quality club music. STEP finds the fundamental groove with under-the-radar house and techno that is isn't afraid to be rough around the edges. STEP is limited promo and all about the music.
