Veteran dub techno producer Brendon Moeller dons his Echologist alias on The Flame EP. The title track is the most experimental, opening the record with tripped-out machine melodies and off-beat drum hits. "Kavorka" follows in the same vein but is more dancefloor focused. Its arps build up the tension until a thick 303 line takes things to a tipping point and eventual release. "Dirtbox" is a fast-paced take on warehouse techno and the deep, atmospheric cut "Candy Mountain" finishes the record in Moeller's signature style. Mastered by Neel. 180 gram vinyl. Packaged in a house sleeve. Artwork by Christopher Honeywell.

Brendon Moeller aka Echologist returns with the Good Vibrations EP, recorded in autumn 2015 in Moeller home studio in upstate New York. The tracks were made using a combination of hardware and software. The protocol? Sync all machines via MIDI and CV and then jam. Once a jam seems to take on a form, multitrack record all elements in Ableton, then create a final arrangement and mix down.

Echologist aka Brendon Moeller is undoubtedly one of the hardest-working techno artists around the globe and has left a prolific trademark in the electronic music world. His 10th album, Storming Heaven floods us with deep emotions and a unique sound experience. Prologue is always looking for new directions in electronic music and they feel strongly that this album fulfills the label's pursuit in an extremely exciting way. It will be treasured for years to come. This is music to immerse oneself in and explore sonic depths and worlds of synthetic sound that resonate on many levels. Brendon's intention for this album was to push himself beyond the comfort zone in an effort to make an album that, more than any other project he has done, will reveal a distinct and unique voice. While it reflects musical ideas from composers that have inspired him, he has attempted to personalize and interpret and therefore create something idiosyncratic yet nostalgic. "The Frequency of Love," the first track, shows us what humans can do with machines. This is the perfect way to start the journey into this masterpiece. Dive in and enjoy the sound of an artist in full bloom.

Prologue is very excited to introduce Brendon Moeller as Echologist with this massive, deeper-spacing, bleepy, acid-oriented vinyl. This EP is simply brilliant and Brendon completes the Prologue rooster in perfection. Let us swing together on the dancefloor.

Electric Deluxe proudly presents Connect by Echologist aka Brendon Moeller. "My only goal was that I wanted to make deep atmospheric techno that could rock a dancefloor." "Connect" pushes the envelope on all fronts; it's mental, fat, dirty and pounding, and despite being slightly obscure, it's a bomb on the floor! "Hummer" and "Freak" both show how diverse Brendon is, and together with the wide selection of tools, dubs and mixes, this is probably the most packed Electric Deluxe release.
