"Clear vinyl. In September 1977, Hawkwind undertook a UK tour to promote the album Quark, Strangeness & Charm. The shows were some of the finest of this era of the band, featuring Robert Calvert as a dynamic frontman. This release features all previously unreleased recordings newly mixed from the original multi-track tapes. Mixed from the original eight-track master tapes by Ben Wiseman with Mark Powell at Broadlake Studios, Hertfordshire in July 2022."

"A new vinyl edition of Steven Wilson's mix of the classic album, Warrior On The Edge Of Time by Hawkwind. Recorded in 1975, the album is a ground-breaking classic of Hawkwind's long career. Featuring a line-up of Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Lemmy, Simon House, Simon King and Alan Powell, the album is arguably one of the finest rock albums of the mid-1970s. This Atomhenge edition marks the first time Steven Wilson's stunning stereo mix has appeared on vinyl. This new vinyl edition of Warrior On The Edge Of Time has been cut at Abbey Road and faithfully reproduces the fold out shield sleeve artwork and picture inner bag of original 1975 LP release."

"Hawkwind's debut album is an extensive mix of psychedelic and progressive rock, resulting in the so-called space-rock. As one of the pioneers in this genre they recorded a bunch of deep soundscapes, combining the best of different genres. The sound of the band is original and the approach is naive in a good sense. This debut can be seen as the highlight of their career, capturing the true spirit of this raw and communal musical movement. The Pretty Things guitarist Dick Taylor produced the debut album by Hawkwind, after he had left his former group."

2015 restock. Deluxe 180 gram black virgin vinyl version (matte finish sleeve). Dirter Promotions presents on double vinyl a previously-unheard and unreleased live Hawkwind show from the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 1972. "Though the tapes were listened to in the weeks after the show, Lucas and Kemp upgraded their recording equipment to half-inch a few months later and the quarter-inch reels disappeared, thought perhaps to be lost forever. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. In 1985, a reel was unearthed at Spaceward Studios, noted to contain the Syd Barrett element of the show plus 'parts of the Hawkwind and Pink Fairies sets,' and in 2005 a second copy of the recordings was unearthed in a collection of tapes stored in Gary Lucas' attic. It's the Lucas tape, via an appearance on the auction lists at Bonhams in Knightsbridge, which has enabled the release of this pivotal show. Dirter Promotions is very pleased to present these recordings, cleaned-up and remastered, enabling Hawkwind's dedicated fan base to experience the band in full flow, poised to fly high and fly far, making the very concept of space-rock their own in perpetuity." --Ian Abrahams (taken from sleeve notes). Features "classic line-up" members Dave Brock, Nik Turner, Lemmy and Robert Calvert.
