"K.A (Kohntarkosz Anteria) is the ninth studio album by French rock band Magma. The album was Magma's first full-length studio release in just under 20 years. The material was largely composed by drummer Christian Vander in 1973-74, and fragments of it can be heard on Magma's 1977 live album Inedits. K.A is sung almost entirely in Magma's constructed language Kobaian. This album is part of the Kohntarkosz cycle of albums. Christian Vander revisited an old unrecorded composition and gave it a very successful modern-day reinterpretation Introducing a new group sound that blends the vintage 'Da Zeuhl' elements from Magma's Kohntarkosz-era material and the engrossing cosmic jazz and massed vocals of Vander's later group, Offering. The lineup featured here is very similar to the one appearing on the 2001 live CD and DVD Theusz Hamtaakh La Trilogie au Trianon. The album is a must-have for die-hard fans and newcomers alike. K.A. is now available as a remastered 2LP in a gatefold sleeve. The record is cut at 45rpm for the ultimate audio experience."

"Due to COVID-19, the French avant-garde band Magma was unable to perform live, so they decided to dive into the studio to create new material. This resulted in a brand-new album titled Kãrtëhl, a collective album such as they have not made in a long time. The band reformed in 2020 and added new musicians to the lineup, which created opportunities for new innovative compositions. After the rather dark 2019 Zëss, this new work Kãrtëhl features bright and resolutely optimistic collective new work, the result of an 'Operation Kãrtëhl'. The double-LP Kãrtëhl includes six new tracks and an additional two bonus tracks, which are demos from Christian Vander's personal collection, recorded at home in 1978. "It was 1974 when Magma's fourth studio album Ẁurdah Ïtah came out. Originally, the album was released under the name of Tristan Et Iseult as a solo studio film soundtrack by founding member Christian Vander. He recorded the music for Yvan Lagrange's 1872 avant-garde film Tristan Et Iseult. The recordings took place only a month prior to the sessions which produced Köhntarkösz. For these recordings for Ẁurdah Ïtah, only a core quartet of Magma members took part, including Christian Vander, Jannick Top, Klaus Blasquiz and Stella Vander providing only drums, bass, piano and vocals. Fifteen years later, in 1989, the album was re-released with Magma's distinctive logo. Ẁurdah Ïtah is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on purple colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve."

"Wherever they perform -- whether at the legendary hippie Burg Herzberg Festival or at the Leverkusener Jazztage in Germany at the end of the 90s, the Nancy Jazz Pulsations Festival in '76. Or the renowned Bell Atlantic Jazz Festival in New York -- French cult ensemble Magma has always left their fans as well as the curious 'uninitiated' stunned and in awe. Led by their drummer and 'master of ceremonies' Christian Vander, the band has consistently poured their tonal magic potion, a substance brewed from 20th century classical music (Stravinsky, Orff, Bartok) and radical tendencies in '60s and '70s jazz and rock, over a spellbound audience for over 45 years. Despite their more jazzy leanings, Magma has always been able to attract a more rock-oriented, young audience from the very beginning. The latter due to Vander's fascination by the cathartic nature of rock music's optimistic spirit in the late '60s, similar to many of his famous jazz contemporaries including John Mclaughlin, Chick Corea, and Miles Davis. As a result, he decided to orchestrate his up-to-one-hour-long suites with all the ingredients electric rock music had developed by the turn of the century. This 2LP documents a live performance recorded at Magma's first concert in Germany on February 6th 1974. This official, professional and sonically improved Radio Bremen recording of this rather short-lived line-up contains a slightly shorter than usual version of 'Mekanïk Destruktïẁ Kommandöh', and with the remaining tracks 'Sowiloi', 'Drum Solo' and 'Theusz Hamtaahk' representing an indispensable supplement to Magma's other live albums released on their own label, Seventh Records."
