LP version. Digitmovies releases the originally soundtrack by Luciano Michelini for the film Silent Action (aka Chopper Squad, original title La Polizia Accusa: Il Servizio Segreto Uccide). Luciano Michelini created symphonic background music that alternates romanticism with drama and mystery. The album opens with the theme of the opening credits, a dark motif produced by strings, percussion and piano which is reprised later in the film. A second recurring motif is a love theme that is introduced in a slow, romantic version with a modern arrangement that alternates with a fast, extravagant march. Initially only the mono mixed tapes were found, but further research into the RCA archives brought to light the stereophonic tape of a previously unreleased LP montage. Directed in 1975 by Sergio Martino, La Polizia Accusa: Il Servizio Segreto Uccide) starred: Luc Merenda, Mel Ferrer, Tomas Milian, Delia Boccardo, Michele Gammino, Paola Tedesco, Gianfranco Barra, Carlo Alighiero, Antonio Casale, Gianni Di Benedetto, Claudio Gora, Giancarlo Badessi, Clara Colosimo, Arturo Dominici, Carlo Gaddi, Claudio Nicastro. In July, 1974, the Italian news reports the tragic deaths of a major, a colonel and a general. Commissioner Solmi investigates the apparently random accidents but focuses on the subsequent assassination of an electrical engineer who he finds out is actually a private investigator. While Judge Mannino reprimands Solmi for his methods, his journalist friend Maria helps him. He comes into contact with Captain Mario Sperlì, a secret political agent working at the Special Information Office, who shows interest in the case and admits to the existence of a failed coup against government security. The investigations, however, are stalled when the accumulation of both crimes and clues forces Mannino to side with the commissioner. Solmi discovers a map and follows his intuition which leads to the identification of a clandestine training camp and the arrest of the guilty party.

Digitmovies release for the very first time on CD Luciano Michelini's complete original soundtrack in full stereo for the movie La CittĂ Gioca D'azzardo (aka "Gambling City") which, shot in 1975 by Sergio Martino, is marginally part of the Italian police genre. Luc Merenda starred in the role of the nice protagonist with supporting players Dayle Haddon, Corrado Pani, and Enrico Maria Salerno. The plot sees Merenda as Luca Altieri, a gambler who is engaged in a club. The owner (Maria Salerno) is the boss of a large ring of gambling houses. Love for a woman (Haddon) torn between Luca and the son of the boss (Pani) will cause a rivalry which leads up to the beating up of Luca and the killing of the owner by the hands of his own son. After having escaped to Nice with the girl, Luca will challenge the cynical killer in a tragic finale. The movie by Martino mixes action with comedy and dramatic genres, in fact this movie is more a noir than a real police movie. This motion picture shot in Milan and Nice can be considered the central part of Sergio Martino hypothetical trilogy about the socio-political facts of the Italy of the '70s. Luciano Michelini has composed a main theme with a burlesque flavor, a little bit retro in a cabaret style which puts well in evidence the casino ambience and gets reprised with delicious variations. This recurrent motif is alternated with exciting action themes with the Lalo Schifrin sound of Dirty Harry concerning chases and shootings and with a fabulous duet of piano and sax with an urban flavor. The author has written a romantic love theme for the two main protagonists, introduced by piano and the voice of Nora Orlandi, and then reprised by the orchestra, and in the conclusive version of the "End Titles". For this CD Digitmovies have used the stereo master tapes of the original recording session preserved in very good condition in the RCA archives.

2016 release. Digitmovies release for the first time on CD Luciano Michelini's original soundtrack for the giallo film Morte Sospetta Di Una Minorenne ("The Suspicious Death Of A Minor"). Luciano Michelini composed one of the most interesting OSTs of giallo and noir film genres. The dramatic main score is pop dominated by organs and rhythms with hints of the goblins in the film "Deep Red". It's introduced in the first part of the opening credits and then reprised, while the second part introduces folk music for the scene in the dance hall. A second score which is cheerful and carefree is introduced during the scenes of the meeting between Commissioner Germi and an underage girl, and often repeats in the background. It is reprised in a few tracks and in the finale. There is no lack of action music for the chases and ambushes. For Digitmovies' CD, the label were able to access the stereo master tapes of the original recording session, in this way saving and preserving an OST that really deserves to be cherished. Directed in 1975 by Sergio Martino, the film starred Claudio Cassinelli, Lia Tanzi, Massimo Girotti, Mel Ferrer, Jenny Tamburi, Gianfranco Barra, Patrizio Castaldi, and Adolfo Caruso. Milan is shocked by a series of crimes, first among which is the disappearance of some minors. Commissioner Paolo Germi, not confident with traditional police methods, investigates the murder of Marisa and then Floriana and finally Gloria by pretending to be a purse snatcher and hiring a thief named Giannino to be his accomplice. He arrives with little success to the shady Milanese Domestic Collaborator Union where he targets and kills the Menga, who heads but doesn't direct Anonymous Seizures. Although Paolo recovered the two billion yielded from kidnapping the son of the industrialist Porella, he is warned not to continue the investigation or use his violent methods. He resigns but keeps watch over the banker Pesce. Pesce is Marisa's uncle who had raped and molested her and her friends. Since he is not able to obtain the appropriate legal documents, Germi confronts Pesce and kills him.
