Repress of Mondo Generator's Cocaine Rodeo (originally released in 2000) on color vinyl. Prior to the formation of Queens of the Stone Age, bassist/singer Nick Oliveri recorded some originals with ex-Kyuss bandmates Josh Homme (guitar) and Brant Bjork (drums), plus Karma To Burn's Rob (drums) and others. But once recording was completed, Oliveri decided to shelve the tapes; it wasn't until several years later (well after Queens of the Stone Age began to establish themselves) that the bassist decided to release the songs on a friend's indie label, Southern Lord Records. Going by the name Mondo Generator, ten tracks were compiled for the 2000 release Cocaine Rodeo. The majority of the songs are much more-raw and hardcore/punk-based than Oliveri's output with QOTSA, as evidenced by such tracks as "Shawnette", "Uncle Tommy", "Unless I Can Kill", and "I Want You to Die". Available as Black/white/magenta color vinyl (HPS 133ULTRA-LP) and orange transparent/striped vinyl (HPS 133ULTRA2-LP).

Heavy Psych Sounds present a reissue Mondo Generator's Dead Planet, originally released in 2006. With Dead Planet, Nick Oliveri has taken a band once considered a side project and turned it into a full-fledged rock and roll powerhouse. As has been his trademark when he had written songs with Kyuss or Queens of the Stone Age, this album just oozes with punk rock ethos. Combined with the stoner rock influences that he helped create, this album is a study in excess and self-indulgence.

This is a gem! A rare pearl found in the deep sea, a Mondo Generator lost album from 2010. The vocals are ripped as usual, some songs are screamed but yet others feature melodic lines. The album has a punk-stoner sound with a desert rock attitude. All the songs are written by Nick Oliveri. The album features the cover of "Dog Food" by Iggy Pop with Dave Grohl on drums. Nick Oliveri knows how to surprise all the time -- He picked this lost gem from his secret stash! Artwork by Bangalore.

Hell guys! Mondo Generator are back! Eight years since the last record, this is a dream for all the fans of the band. A mixture of speed rock, American punk and hardcore, with the typical Nick Oliveri style. You can hear the old school roots of Black Flag and Dead Kennedys with a pinch of heavy rock and sometimes shades of stoner. You can feel the dust and the sand of the Californian desert mixed with the rotten smell of a dirty basement used as venue! The songwriting is never ordinary and keeps the listener alive for the duration of the entire album. The vocal melodies are always interesting and give the music its trademark sound. You can definitely hear the punk attitude of Queens of the Stone Age band with whom Nick played for long time. The album is recorded at Pink Duck studio owned by Josh Homme and engineered and mixed by Ian Watt. Cover art by Branca Studio.
