Early 2008 release. At the forefront of the new wave of German techno, P.Toile and producer Alex Krüger (aka Tigerskin, Dub Taylor) have created a jittery, bubbly bomb -- with no pianos. Chopped-up vocals and rolling snares conjure up images of an 18-wheeler chugging down a lonely highway on a rainy night with a faulty CB radio. Ethereal pads pierce the darkness, and the percussion hammers back in. Sven Tasnádi's remix explores the track's main chords from underwater. A groove unfurls, punctuated by rolling congas and sudden crashes. Majestic.
