SECRET 004EP
Mid-2012 release; hailed by influential critic and blogger Philip Sherburne as one of the top 50 records of the year. This release marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between secretsundaze's James Priestley & Marco Spaventi. The product of numerous late-night Amsterdam studio sessions, this 12" fuses 128 bpm house and techno with elements of UK bass, while taking cues from Cajmere and Chicago. "Baia 2012" is an organic-sounding offering backed by a Fela Kuti percussion loop, a massive bass line from a Prophet 5 synthesizer, original drum-machine work, vintage synths and varied jazz riff samples. Remixes by Aybee.

SECRET 007EP
Secretsundaze resident and co-founder James Priestley and studio partner Marco Antonio return with Speed, for their second release on the ever-evolving London based secretsundaze stable. "Speed" pays homage to those legendary club-times, but updated for the dancefloors and headphones of today, essentially as a patient, restrained, synth-layered and organic, percussive techno record. A tight 909 kick, Prophet 5 pads and sampled maracas and shakers, make way for an incessant bassline and nostalgic vocal sample. Remix by Trevino.
