SAFARI 009EP
"Another international artist to check out. This artist from Germany (Boxer) is sure to follow. Safari Electronique can be proud about this future great release...this title is similar to Sleeparchive stuff. On the production side, Christian uses both analog and digital synthesizers and does not want to miss the feeling he has when turning on his analog machines, as well as he loves the infinite possibilities new digital media comes with."

KICK 001EP
"Kickboxer is related to Boxer. Two hefty minimal beats tap the first keg to kick off Bavarian Oktoberfest. Tangily and foamily, 'Still No Name' Christian Quast is tapping a lively bass line out of the zeitgeist's barrel, and weirdo drums and a mixture of quotations varying between house and rave tunes. It's like riding a roller coaster, it is a trip through old and new school, it's like going through the gorges of modern, fumbling minimalism up the the heights of old Chicago sounds on top of which the oppressed raver's heart is thumping faster, while reminiscing about good old times for a short while and then looking forward to the spectacular rush down again. But then, get out of the roller coaster and straight into the haunted house where Sub Static's and Karloff's label boss Falko Brocksieper throws over the sheet and whispers spooky effects and sounds into your ears. He shakes the grooves and rattles the cart and off we go, riding through the abyss of various circuit boards towards the beloved daylight. What a gorgeous day."
