"It´s not a bad thing to take a look behind the scenes every now and then. Unfortunately, lots of people used to regard the world as rarely realistic, but rather ideological. Instead of seeing the world as it is, people prefer to imagine what it could be but are disappointed if reality does not match the ideal. Definitely, one shouldn't believe what generally is believed. Who believes, primarily just doesn't know the score. That's not a shame at all. But then it wouldn't be bad to desist from blowing oneself and others up just in the name of faith, condemn people of different faiths or renounce sex before marriage. Probably there is a lot more out there as we may know or presume. But, however, it is the representative on what we don't know or just presume: We don't know it and that's why we just guess. Of course we can make something out. That's nice and funny. But we should´t ever declare it as religion and the genuine truth. But it´s the truth that this shaggy rocker has resurged to step forward the scenes again and confess the holy acoustic impact: SweetN.Candy is alive -- and everybody who renders homage to him will come to the dancefloor for good! Just buy this record to listen to it loud and you get flown through a comforting feeling of absolute blessedness."

"Sweet n' Candy brings a very well rounded EP to DoC. Rico Henshel (aka Sweet n' Candy) is another techno veteran who needs little introduction. The Wicked Keeper EP also features a remix by DoC label boss, Aaron Hedges, and Beaner (who is also soon to release his 2nd record on Rekids -- Radioslave's label)."

"Einmaleins is happy to have Sweet'n'Candy back. Since his first release on the label, he has been doing great work and now comes back to the label with his 47 Pancakes + One Joint EP. On the A-side, 'The Green' is a quirky tight techno track with surrounding sounds giving a playful character to the track. The B-side 'Pancakes' is a dark techno track with great heavy bassline evolving all the time and incorporating a great cut half way that makes the come-back shake the soundsystem!"

"The beloved member of Einmaleins, Sweet n' Candy is back with number 017 release of the established label. 'Scrollmops,' the original track, is characterized by clickiness and simple but effective sounds. Deep, dark n' slow. No title '...!?#' is a more playful track with quirkiness and trippy landscapes of noise developing all the way through its existence. It gives groove to the body based on nice textures. The Falko remix is keeping it dark just like the original keeping the rhythm and the paths it works, slow and trippy. Falko Brocksieper does a really nice interpretation of the original within the boundaries of the sounds available to him, completing this release in the best way."

"Einmaleins presents Sweet n' Candy -- all of you already know him from his releases on Raum...Musik, Lebensfreude, Dumb Unit and Opossum...yes and its spells quality. Now he brings us a three track minimal tech house bomb. A versatile quality package for heavy rotation and all kinds of floors."

"Well, just as its mascot is an opossum, our new label, might be still small and quite an outsider in the big clubworld, but just as our furry friend got endurance, dares to be different and is actually quite ferocious and determined to make it into the limelight. The pouch of this first opossum is well stocked with two acoustic delicacies that couldn't be more different: 'Resonance' by Sweet n' Candy fascinates with its gnarly and only superficially monotonous sound aesthetic. The bassline is busy throughout: swinging, bouncing, constantly changing and accompanied by nice sound gimmicks enhancing the experience. On the flip Christian Hoffman aka Blackwell remixes Sweet n' Candy's 'Polyester' which saw a release on Raum Music in its original form. He pretty much sticks to the original melody but gives it a phat minimal electro sound without surrendering to kitsch. Enjoy both pieces with the volume bordering on pain."
