Guy Noir is George Tsioutsias and Gower Ramsey who made their slamming debut on Resopal Schallware. "Delusion (I Can't Sing)" is a dark and deep minimalistic tech-house track. Experimental sound effects and obscure ear-candy vocal snippets define the overall mood. Argy provides his signature main-room house sound on the remix with builds and slow stabs and FX drenched in analog reverbs and delays. Lovingly designed for a Formula One sound system. Otherwise, you are probably not doing this remix justice.

Beaner's Personalities EP is about two very real personalities. "Steve Miller's Beach" leads the listener to imagine hanging out with dude-rock legend, Steve Miller on his private beach with a relaxed, low-slung techno vibe. "M.o.A.N.C.T.S.," on the other hand, captures the spirit of Mosima "Tokyo" Sexwale who was a South African anti-Apartheid activist. "M.o.A.N.C.T.S." presents pumping percussion contrasted by freaky swells and atmospheric sound effects. A very unique journey into a place that may not be appropriate for all dancefloors.

DoC proudly produces its first split record: Don't Share Needles - Volume 1. Label boss Aaron Hedges remixes Jahcoozi. "Flatline" was their radio hit from their last album and Aaron's peak energy, electro-house remix has already gotten DJ support from Jennifer Cardini and Krikor. Simon Beeston and Nima join forces for a slamming house track, combining modern tech house percussion with classic Detroit-influenced pads. Finally, Mano Le Tough's Detroit and Italo influences can be heard on his modern techno jam.

"DoC brings back one of its heavy hitters, Peter Grummich's 'Therapy,' with remix treatment from two of our favorites Exercise One and Franklin de Costa. After hearing the Exercise One remix of Phil Sherburn's 'Lumberjacking' we knew we had to get these guys on board to do a remix for DoC. Their remix is sparse but remarkably full of energy and tension. XS1 brings a combination of unique digital percussion, lush reverberated effects, stark breaks, and tense pads. Clear and crisp production and an intimate knowledge of dancefloor dynamics makes XS1 a duo to watch. Franklin de Costa has also provided top notch remix work to this release. Franklin's remix pushes with a forward tech house groove and a growling synth bass. But from there, many rules have been broken. Obscure synth sounds and slightly off beat delays create a unique texture and feeling to this remix. An open or partly diminished mindset is required for full understanding of this remix. Dancefloors beware!"

"Sweet n' Candy brings a very well rounded EP to DoC. Rico Henshel (aka Sweet n' Candy) is another techno veteran who needs little introduction. The Wicked Keeper EP also features a remix by DoC label boss, Aaron Hedges, and Beaner (who is also soon to release his 2nd record on Rekids -- Radioslave's label)."

"DoC births yet another up and comer to 12" club, Simon Beeston. 'Krankenwagen' is a super twisted rave bomb and features two heavy-hitting remixes from Liebe ist Cool and DoC label boss, Aaron Hedges. Liebe ist Cool provides a stripped down and dirty Berlin minimal take on 'Krankenwagen.' Working with tight grooves and tribal rhythms, their remix builds quickly to a fiery pace and keeps the energy. Layered on top of this percussive aphrodisiac are super quirky sound effects and stripped vocal samples. Aaron Hedges provides a down and dirty rave bomb of a remix. You really just have to hear this one! Pushing high energy percussion and slowly developing arrangement patterns make this track a real journey."

"Peter has already graced numerous labels with his unique yet constantly evolving studio style. After numerous afterhour situations with the DoC family, we caught wind of Grummich's new productions. We believe that the Therapy EP continues the development of Peter's uncompromising underground productions. The title track, 'Therapy' is a nine-minute journey into dancefloor dynamics. Slowly building with concentrated breaks, 'Therapy' works it out and then some. Minimal, sexy and sleek, but at 7 minutes, the listener is surprised with a full on new-rave lead which takes the song in a different direction. 'Get It' is a nice tech-house track with building percussive patterns and highly concentrated synth breakdowns. This track is only for the most sophisticated house DJs that know when to drop a track like this. 'Drymilk' is a seriously twisted hard minimal track. Nasty sound effects and perplexing pitch shifts will keep you guessing."

"DoC label boss, Aaron Hedges, returns with a two-track EP that has been slowly evolving in his studio over the last several months. 'Chocolate Milkshake' is a funky electro tech house track geared for peak time playability. Nasty synth leads, truly funky melodic hooks, pumping geek-house percussion, and live percussion make this track unforgettable. The flip side, 'Small Emergencies,' is a slowly building dark minimal techno tune that is driven by a very nasty analog acid synth. 'Emergencies' develops and strips down into a very dubby, aquatic groove through the last 5 minutes. At thirteen minutes, the track takes it time to explore many different spaces and energies of dancefloor energy. Being in a state of constant evolution, 'Small Emergencies' ensures both continuity and interest even for the most critical of ears."

"This is Isometric's second release on District of Corruption. After their Insert Coin EP, the Swedish trio returns with three more tracks. Next to their jazzier Anagram project, under which they already released an album Across the Spectrum and toured in Sweden, Kristofer, Torbjorn and Fredrik shift the focus with Isometric to create a pure synthetic techno-orientated sound. Their first release, which Mr. Hawtin wanted himself for M_nus, received amazing DJ support from the likes of Ricardo, Tobi, Michael, Jeremy P., and Anja. This time DoC label Boss, Aaron Hedges, has teamed up with Red Robin for their first musical collaboration."

"Staffan is the second Swedish artist to join the DoC ranks. Staffan has already been making waves in the minimal techno scene with his crisp and funky percussive driven percussion. 'Quibble' is a funk driven percussive minimal monster that is guaranteed to crush any dancefloor. It's already getting DJ support from Dinky and Jambi. 'Foreshadowing' is a low slung bass jam. Staffan has already graced the following labels: Stockholm Ltd., Rygular, and Eisfach and also has forthcoming releases on Meerestief and Produkt. 'Quibble' also got some loving remix treatment from Efdemin. After hearing his delicate production on Dial and Liebe Detail, we had to bring his production genius to DoC. Efdemin's remix starts with very pumping percussion sitting delicately between house and techno. Later the track evolves with the addition of super lush melodic pads bringing the original track a touch of Detroit influence. This tracks works at any hour of the night (or day)."

"Aaron Hedges is the DoC boss and rising producer/DJ based in Berlin. The concept behind the Best Club In the World EP is simple, Aaron has found it! Since moving to one of the most influential cities of electronic dance music, Aaron's has been exposed to sounds and experiences that have rekindled his deep love of music. These personal stories are transformed into songs. Whether its talking yourself down from a mentally complicated situation ('Uncomplicated Yourself'), attempting to interact with the natives ('Deutsch Lernen'), or rationalizing how late you are out partying ('One More Hour'); Aaron delivers his message with honesty, personality and even comedy. Doc 009 also features a slamming remix by Rico Henschel aka Sweet n Candy."
