Tyla is an English rock musician, best known for his work with The Dogs D'Amour as well as an extensive solo catalogue. Not only performing vocals, guitars and other instruments, he also illustrates the album covers in his own recognizable style. Libertine is his second solo album and it was recorded and released only on CD and in the UK in 1996. Now for the first time on vinyl, Libertine contains material which arguably bares the closest stylistic similarity to The Dogs D'Amour. There has been speculation amongst fans that some of the songs were written for his former band. As on Tyla's first solo album (also available on Bang! Records), Libertine contains both electric and acoustic material. For fans of Jacobites, The Dogs D´Amour, and Johnny Thunders.

The Life and Times of a Ballad Monger, the first solo album by Tyla (leader of The Dogs D'Amour), finally released on vinyl for the first time. Originally released in 1994, only on CD and in the UK, right after the split of The Dogs D'Amour. Album contains tracks featuring The Dogs D'Amour members, as well as a list of Tyla solo acoustic tracks. Needless to say, there are tracks reminiscent of The Dogs D'Amour, as well as the spirit of Keith Richards and Johnny Thunders in their acoustic and most intimate face. A total must for all fans of Tyla, The Dogs D'Amour, Nikki Sudden & Jacobites, Johnny Thunders, etc. Full original artwork by Tyla. Remastered. Gatefold jacket; edition of 500.
