DJ, producer and lord of the Slovenian underground, Umek presents three exclusive tracks full of funk, attitude and substance. The title track is a bouncing bomb that relies on synth stabs to flavor a delicious concoction of tight beats and refined bass lines. With a drier, minimal approach, "Take A Look" burns brightly with its careful fills, effects and tripped-out synths. "Dialogue Occurs" is a tough techy cut that rolls with bass-heaviness.

"Manual Music is a Dutch label focusing on quality house music, aiming at the serious dance music lover. This label will not release music in any specific genre in house music.. we don't like to categorize! So expect minimaltechfunkyproghouse releases on this label without boundaries. Times are flying and we are proud to present our 10th release by no one less then Slovenian techno head honcho, Umek! After many years of releasing highly acclaimed techno EPs on labels such as Primate, Jericho, Consumer Recreation, Phont Music, Novamute, etc. now Umek's sound has shifted a little bit more towards the melodic minimal side of techno, as he has already shown with recent releases on Audiomatique and his own Earresistible label, but still with that distinctive Umek sound! On this double A-side EP Umek drops two essential movers which will appeal to many as the crossover potential is huge!"

Audiomatique welcomes Slovenia's hottest DJ and producer Uros Umek into the fold. Since 1993, DJ Umek has produced uncountable 12"s and remixes for labels like Planet Rhythm, Novamute, Spielzeug, Blacknation, and Code X, just to name a few. Amongst a growing following of international admirers, his excellent and beautiful rocking tracks can be heard on nearly every dancefloor. "Akul" kicks off with a percussive rhythm before a dark synth and a charismatic chord drive the piece along. "Complikator" is a relentless and dramatic backing of severe synths, rising pads and swirling noise. The bass is similarly intense, throbbing away before taking a melodic break: quite a head-turner and will create buzz in the clubs.
