"Resopal Red is again proud to present a very special goodie for a fresh 2007. Check out Zentex on nice cut, well mastered vinyl by upcoming finish producer Jari Marjamaki. We're quite sure at our Resopal desks that this haunting theme will get played by everyone. With his debut on Resopal Red, Jari creates four real floor-burner with elements of house, minimal techno and jack elements which will us bring back to basics. Shuffling drums, stripped back club grooves and quirky basslines -- the sound of the moment!"

"Our Finn, also called Zentex, is obviously doing fine in Portugal. His sounds are getting more and more sophisticated, intelligent and rocking with every new demo version sent in by Jari Marjamäki. And now, before he is going on tour through South America, he comes up with three smooth, Balearic tracks that reveal their inherent energy in the course of the running time. Zentex presents three treasures where he skillfully combines the cool Scandinavian mentality with the hot-blooded Portuguese funkyness: rather straight in the beginning, later extremely funky and deep in the end. But wait until he will be back and adds all the experiences from his South-America trip... we will certainly have to change his name in 'Zentex Intercontinental'!"

"Zentex. The Finnish producer Jari Marjamäki. After his contribution for the Traum compilation Intercontinental V/A, he has finally made his long way back to Cologne and comes up with a 12" maxi release on Kickboxer. Jari Marjamäki presents his very own vision of minimal techno, paired with the typical Iberain flair. Vasco da Gama would have loved it if he did not die in 1524. With laid-back, minimal tunes to dance to anywhere, anytime, Zentex gives us the feeling of an everlasting summer; as if you spent the most beautiful hours of the day doing what you love. And when it comes to Jari, it's music, that's for sure. Soft harmonies, little whispering sounds of a gust of wind, like the summer sun glistening on the endless Atlantic ocean and waves of rumbling bass sounds melting on the beach."
