"The captured visceral ambiance of the Jimmy's Lunch EP is Mr. Shananigans' full order of subversively succulent Canadiania: A filling tonic for those of strenuous appetites. The A side of the menu is entitled 'Bankrupt Bounce,' a bumping minimal house offering that manipulates all the right ear-buds with groovy dominance. This swinging bass-tainted track is packed with dirty 8-bit bacon sizzling drums and a freshly squeezed synth-line that goes straight to the hips. Moral Undulations returns from previous Shananigan projects on side B's 'Old Blue Spiritual.' Backed by a sharp and punchy minimal production MU provides exceptional service with a lyrical hot drink that sermons through the willing fascism of tasteless mindsets at the giddy joyspeed of caffeine. The final helping is the second B-side deep cut called 'Bite Yours' which wraps things up with a sunny-side swinger of a groove. The essence of techno-jazz dribbles through this track with molten layers of hi-carb synth sequences sopped up through the phat bounce of low end and live drum samples."
