Moon Harbour cannot be imagined without Daniel Faulwasser aka Dan Drastic behind the scenes. "Slice of Life" starts flirting with dub effects and a gracefully-built rhythm. Little-by-little, an African choir moves over, which affects the track on the second half after the break, without dominating it. Johnny D remixes, with only a few sounds and a hypnotic rhythm. The vocals emerge subtly, the percussive beat operates in the foreground, once more measuring the limits of contemporary house music.
