Mark Broom's Z Beats follows One Sound/Myth EP (EPM 016EP) and King EP (EPM 017EP) as the third in a trilogy of EPs for EPM Music and also includes a remix by Truncate. The new EP opens with two superlative versions of the title track, "Z Beats". "Mix 1" is a stripped and deep minimal-techno drill while "Mix 2" utilizes a warm bass and variegated melody. Up next is a phat and phunky "Z Beats" remix by Truncate. Bringing up the rear is another treat from Broom. "OT" is a glistening peak time stomper.
