"Volker Dornhagen hails from Hamburg, Germany and has released some music on Kompakt sublabel Auftrieb. This is his first record on Raum...Musik and he delivers us three excellent pieces of minimal techno music. Although the tempo of all three featured tracks are more house paced, the mood is quite dark and heavy and due to the fact that the tracks are stripped down to the maximum, they become highly functional DJ tools.
