Antipodean beatsmith and low-riding soul-brother, Inkswel, arrives on the eighth 12" from Burek Records. He recently collaborated with Dave Aju, naturally Burek were keen to get this out into the world, complemented by great remixes and additional tracks from Inkswel. The A-side comprises three funkadelicious, shape-throwing, pop-locking slices featuring the talents of Aju, Cazeaux O.S.L.O, Isaac Aesili and Charli James. "Oishi Stylus" is also included, evoking the Pacific Rim's interconnectivity with its Nipponese flavors cut over solid beats. This ain't hip-house, it's hip-hop-house.
