Princess Century is the alter ego of Maya Postepski, drummer and programmer with Domino Records -- signed Austra. Canada-born Maya also co-wrote and produced electronic outfit TRUST's debut album, which was released on the Arts And Crafts label in 2012: Pitchfork 7.3, NME 7/10, Guardian "New Band of the Day." Her anticipated debut album Lossless is a limited 180 gram heavyweight vinyl run with stunning minimalist sleeve design and insert artwork by Maya herself. Lossless was mastered by Psapp's Carim Classman at his Fishtank Studio. Maya toured the world with Austra throughout 2012 and the band received critical acclaim from radio and press on both sides of the Atlantic, including New York magazine, Spin, Drowned in Sound, The Guardian, NME, and BBC 6 Music. While touring with Austra, Maya DJ'd under her Princess Century moniker and also produced and remixed for the likes of Tesseomancy, Feathers, and Kool Thing. Lossless reveals a more playful, yet utterly heartfelt and sincere side to Maya Postepski than previous collaborative projects and shows off her production prowess and ear for odd electronic pop.
