Princess Century is the alter ego of Maya Postepski, drummer and programmer with Domino Records -- signed Austra. Canada-born Maya also co-wrote and produced electronic outfit TRUST's debut album, which was released on the Arts And Crafts label in 2012: Pitchfork 7.3, NME 7/10, Guardian "New Band of the Day." Her anticipated debut album Lossless is a limited 180 gram heavyweight vinyl run with stunning minimalist sleeve design and insert artwork by Maya herself. Lossless was mastered by Psapp's Carim Classman at his Fishtank Studio. Maya toured the world with Austra throughout 2012 and the band received critical acclaim from radio and press on both sides of the Atlantic, including New York magazine, Spin, Drowned in Sound, The Guardian, NME, and BBC 6 Music. While touring with Austra, Maya DJ'd under her Princess Century moniker and also produced and remixed for the likes of Tesseomancy, Feathers, and Kool Thing. Lossless reveals a more playful, yet utterly heartfelt and sincere side to Maya Postepski than previous collaborative projects and shows off her production prowess and ear for odd electronic pop.

"The man Stuart Cullen is about to break radio silence after a four year sabbatical. 'By The River' marks Pilote's return to the music fray, thoroughly refreshed and in a mellifluous mood. Following on from previous releases for Domino and Certificate 18, our hero has a new limited 7" on Kennington Recordings -- the label's second release following the critically-acclaimed album by Team LG. Evoking the jeu d'esprit of Spike Milligan and Ivor Cutler, this is a delicious bugle call of charismatic whimsy. It bumbles along on a billowing bass line which is neatly underpinned by mischievous beats and a viciously addictive nursery rhyme vocal riff."

"Conjuring epic ramshackle tunes out of old Casios, melodicas, violins, toys and anything else they found whilst rooting around in local charity shops. Often these songs were made overnight -- Little G would sing, play and frolic, then fall asleep while Mr L pressed buttons and bounced the parts around on the rickety equipment until daybreak -- always finishing the new song in time to listen to it with hot coffee, fresh ears and a sleepy Little G. Combining weightless beauty with heavy sentiment; heavenly hooks collide with assured percussive clonks, clicks and rattles. Like angels driving vintage tractors, ploughing the streets of London, leaving in their wake deep tracks of rich soil and heavy clay. The album tumbles blearily from early morning anticipation, afternoon snoozes and late night eeriness -- tales of the city, stories of day to day and songs from the heart."
