2014 release. Shadoks Music presents the first official vinyl reissue of Ernan Roch's La Onda Pesada (1971). Almost nothing was known about this mysterious record until Enrique Rivas managed to make contact with Ernan Roch. Ernan Roch's album was recorded in Mexico in 1970 with, El Amor a band who recorded three albums for Capitol Records. His outstanding song "The Train" has a similar vibe to Damon's "Song Of The Gypsy" (1968), with great fuzz guitar all over. Ernan sings all the songs in English, which is not very common for bands from Mexico. Includes a four page insert with liner notes and photos. Comes in a heavy sleeve. 180 gram vinyl. Edition of 500 (numbered).
