Shadoks Music present a reissue of Markheim's self-titled album, recorded in 1972 and released in 1991. This LP by the Swiss band Markheim was recorded in Venice, Italy 1972. Markheim was formed in 1972 by Andreas Wyden and dissolved the same year in lack of money, leaving some curious demo tapes behind. These guys lived in Paradiso, in the canton of Ticino, the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Andreas Wyden and drummer Enzo Geninazza are Swiss, but little information can be found about pianist Phillip Reeves and guitarist Trevor Thoms. The band traveled to Venice during the summer of '72 in order to record their freshly composed songs. The demo tapes were later on remastered by the poet from Lugano, Dubravko Pusek, who also financed the whole project. All tracks and lyrics were composed by Andreas Wyden. The music itself is a mix of crazy progressive, folk, and psych rock. Some tracks are rather experimental as well with a progressive touch. Overall it's a very well-produced studio recording. Ten demos of a hidden treasure from Switzerland, released in 1991 on a private label in for the first "ever" in a tiny edition of 200 LPs. The only band name reference that can be found is the crime novel Markheim by Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson from 1884, but it's unknown if the band name came from this novel. A good friend of the label described the special atmosphere on this album as: "rustic, back porch strumming with precious stones humming and a mind for the instant chopping of original wood". Shadoks Music present a reissue of Jesper Siliya's Giant Steps, originally released in 1978. This album by Jesper Siliya was released originally on the same label as Chrissy Zebby Tembo's My Ancestors. Jesper Siliya used to play with the Ngozi Family and most likely, they played with him here. This is his sole album as a band leader, and it's a great one -- very catchy, simple but beautiful compositions, you'll find yourself singing these songs in your sleep. Heavy fuzz-guitar is all over the album -- Fuzz guitars all over with African beats and political lyrics. Originals are impossible to find in any condition and the prices are high when you do find them. African rhythms and '70s rockish underground moods -- never too polished. A "sugar & spice" album. Shadoks follows its reissue of the 1969 debut by Alrune Rod, of the most popular hippie bands from Denmark, and their third album (SHAD 187LP, 1972), with this reissue of Hej Du, their amazing second album from 1971. The band took its name from the Danish term for the mandrake root, inspired by the Danish author Albert Dam's 1962 book Syv Fortællinger (Seven Stories). The book contains a story in which a Robin Hood-like character is sentenced to death by hanging. At the jerk of the noose he ejaculates, a mandrake root grows up where his semen hits the ground, and a virgin collects and cares for the root, which in turn brings good fortune. Alrune Rod's musical style is often described as a hybrid between the Grateful Dead and early Pink Floyd. Hej Du is their real masterpiece. By late summer 1970 Alrune Rod had started recording the album and were given unlimited studio time at Vanløse Bio, a movie theater that housed and operated the Ivar Rosenberg Lydteknik studio at night after the final film screening. The studio was advanced for the time, with a home-built multi-track tape recorder that allowing for experimentation. Hej Du was released in June 1971 with promotional concerts by the new Alrune Rod scheduled across the country. Band member Leif Roden later recalled that Hej Du was on the radio charts for weeks during the summer of 1971, and sold a record-high 12,000 copies. According to the chart lists, Hej Du entered the bi-weekly top-ten album list on June 12, 1971 and stayed there until August 4, with a top position at number-three after Skousen & Ingemann's Herfra Hvor Vi Står and The Doors' L.A. Woman. Hej Du is as close to Pink Floyd's early sound as any other album from Denmark. Fantastic production and great, long, trippy, psychedelic tracks. 180-gram vinyl. Heavy sleeve. Second Edition: 180 gram, transparent green vinyl; two-page insert with liner notes with photos; Includes CD. Cement is from the island of Gotland, 200 miles east of Sweden's mainland. This island has always been different from the rest of Sweden in many ways, with their own strong dialect and mythology. The local mythology about Gotland, which dates back to the year 1350, holds that Gotland remained underwater during the daylight hours and only surfaced during the night because of a mysterious spell cast upon the island. Cement was formed during the autumn of 1973 by two guitar players (Björn Jonsson and Anders Åström) and two drummers (Ulf Abrahamsson and Thomas Harlevi). They were influenced by such bands as Mountain, Grand Funk Railroad, and of course the Swedish power trio November. They recorded Utmaningen in 1977 and released it in a limited run of 100 cassette tapes. This is the first LP release of the album. Instrumentally, Utmaningen is a tour de force, every bit as excellent as any of the better-known heavy rock album from the Swedish '70s. The Ngozi Family formed in 1975 in Lusaka, Zambia, and shot to stardom. Bandleader Paul Dobson Nyirongo aka Paul Ngozi enlisted former members of his previous band, The Three Years, and gave a popular voice to what later was called "Zamrock," a cool fusion of older African rhythms and '70s rockish underground modes -- never too polished, but with a tightness that would have made groups up in London take notice. Heavy Connection, recorded in 1978 with drummer Chrissy Zebby Tembo, features razor-sharp guitars, hard rhythms, and a mix of English and Zambian lyrics. Original copies are impossible to find. Shadoks Music present Lars Lundberg and Mats Lodén's Rebecca. Lars Lundberg and Mats Lodén were buddies already from first grade in Luleå, located in northernmost Sweden. Although they were good friends, they did not share a musical interest during the first three school years. Lars was lucky enough to have a very special dad, who presented him a Hagström Standard 80 White Pearl electric guitar and a small amplifier on his eighth birthday in 1964. In 1973, Lars and Mats formed a new band together (Savannah) with old classmate Benny Sjödin. All three played the guitar. This was of course not an ideal setup for a band. The situation was solved by recruiting the one year younger Peter Larsson on drums. Lars played the bass guitar, as well as harmonica, recorder and alto saxophone. Benny and Mats doubled on the bass guitar when Lars was busy singing or playing another instrument. After the split of Savannah in 1975, Lars and Mats became heavily oriented towards early British progressive music. Lars was fond of bands like Pink Floyd, Traffic, and Curved Air, while Mats favored music made by for example David Bowie, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and The Doors. All songs on the album are written by Lars and Mats. With one exception, all titles and song texts are in English. There are no political ambitions whatsoever. The songs can rather be described as whimsical and psychedelic, which makes the album rather unique at the time, when Swedish music was either commercial with lyrics in English or anti-commercial with lyrics in Swedish and an outspoken political message. The album was originally pressed in 200 copies only, as it was intended to be a demo album. However, at the time no major Swedish record company showed any interest in the music. Lars sold his four-channel tape recorder, in order to afford the pressing. Most of the records were sold to friends and schoolmates in Luleå. There are very cool electric underground songs but others go in the direction of the best Tony Caro & John. A great and rare Swedish album which appears in Hans Pokoras's 7001 Record Collector Dreams book with a six-star value. Shadoks Music present a reissue of Rainbow Band's self-titled album, released twice, in 1970 and again in 1971. Both distinct releases are included in this reissue. Denmark's Rainbow Band was formed in late 1969 as a super-group consisting of Peer Frost (ex-Young Flowers), Lars Bisgaard (ex-Maxwells), Carsten Smedegaard (ex-Beefeaters), Bent Hesselmann, and the former jazz players Niels Brønsted and Bo Stief. They played jazz-influenced progressive rock in the style of Burnin Red Ivanhoe and Traffic's self-titled second album (1968). Their rhythm section produced a powerful '60s beat, forcing Peer Frost to squeeze out some of his best guitar solos. The singer Lars Bisgaard was replaced by Allan Mortensen (ex-Tears) at the end of 1970. A Canadian group was already using the name Rainbow Band, which forced the Danish group to change their name into Midnight Sun in July 1971. Melody Maker editor Richard Williams wrote about the album in 1971, shortly after its initial release: "the first time I heard this album, I was immediately seduced by its sense of freshness and space. The styles of playing are superficially little different from those of their brothers in Britain and America, but I find the atmosphere of this music wholly more relaxed and open." The first version of the album, with vocalist Lars Bisgaard, was released in December 1970. The second version, replacing the original Bisgaard version with vocalist Allan Mortensen, came out in mid-February 1971. The third version of this album (same music but new name) came out as Midnight Sun's 1971 self-titled release (AU 5030CD) with a new cover made by "Roger Dean". Beside the new vocals on both Rainbow Band versions, they differ in the songs as well. One song on the first version does not appear on the second version, and two songs on the second version do not appear on the first version. Perhaps one of the best Danish production in the 1970s, produced by Freddy Hansson and Rainbow Band; Musically, it's so fine that it certainly ranks among the five best Danish '70s albums, easily. A fantastic album from beginning to the end - and both version are great. Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner Igen. is the second album by Rävjunk, Scandinavia's best punk-psych band from Uppsala, Sweden. This second album includes tracks from rare singles and EPs released from 1979-1980, as well as completely unknown tracks picked by Peter Ericson (drums). Shadoks Music and Ericson were working on this album for weeks, and just before the album was done, Peter sadly passed away. This album is in memory of Peter Ericson, the great Swedish drummer and singer from Rävjunk. Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner Igen. is a great selection of songs influenced by the early pre-punk period ala Stooges/MC5, as well as the longer jamming guitar tracks of German kraut and space-rock bands. They also saw the heavy psych movement as a bright star. Several influences are evident, but it's all blended into something unique, as each member brought their own intriguing ingredients into the music. Guitarist Christer Lindahl was a Hendrix freak and singer Sören G. Andersson was deeply involved in the new punk rock movement. Bassist Lars-Eric was very much into Jack Bruce and Cream, while Peter, the drummer, was an avid fan of German bands such as Can and Guru Guru. The first album, originally released in 1977 was titled Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner (SHAD 185LP, 2016), which in Swedish means, "Uppsala City Hotel Is Burning". Uppsala Stadshotell Brinner Igen. is Swedish for "Uppsala City Hotel Is Burning Again". A great album from beginning to end, just as good as the first album for sure. Shadoks Music present a reissue of Fusion Farm's Rush Job, originally released in 1971. After many years of trying to locate the band to properly reissue Rush Job, a daughter of one of the band members coincidentally found Shadoks through social media. The album originally was very limited release on the S.R.T label with a hand-sprayed cover, very much like Tony Caro & John's All On The First Day (1972). Originals are very rare, fetching high prices on the collectors market. This reissue includes tracks from the rare 1974 single Fat Judy/Gypsy Mountain Woman. Fusion Farm got radio play and played a lot of shows in London and the surrounding cities before heading off to Europe to gig constantly. Germany became a second home, in particular Frankfurt and Munich and they found favor playing at many US army air bases. Fusion Farm played the Frankfurt Festhalle, with a 15,000 capacity, supporting Bad Company and Black Oak Arkansas. This show is infamous because Black Oak Arkansas never showed up and a riot ensued, leaving the venue trashed. The band changed personnel several times but the core of the band and song-writing team of Bob Bett and Normal Ley remained constant. The band split in 1979 to pursue other projects. Rush Job includes snotty, Stooges-like psych songs, with great guitars, drums, cool vocals and bass. Some tracks are dreamy and some are very powerful British underground tunes.

Shadoks Music present a reissue of the Danish and rare English version of Alrune Rock, the third album by Alrune Rod, originally released in 1972 and 1973 respectively. "Alrune Rod" is the name for the Danish mythical mandrake root, and also the name for one of the most popular hippie bands from Denmark who shared the stage with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin among other famous bands. Alrune Rock, their third album, came in two different versions: In 1972, with Danish vocals and in 1973, the rare English vocals version with slightly different mixes. For the English version, the band used the cover image of their first album, Alrune Rod (1969), but with heavy color changes and a sticker on the front. Still, many people - even in Denmark - got confused about two very different albums with the similar artwork. The release presented here uses the outside of the English version, each printed inner sleeve has the correct English/Danish cover. During March and April of 1972, Alrune Rod chose record producer Freddy Hansson to Rosenberg studios in Copenhagen. At this point, the band was a trio: Leif Roden Nielson, Ole Poulsen and Karsten Høst. This was the first studio recording for Ole. Karsten had played on the previous Hej Du album (1971) and Leif would appear on all of Alrune Rod's albums. Alrune Rock shows the group moving away from the violent and emotional drama as their main expression, seeking strength through a technically more competent music. Alrune Rock reached #3 on the "Top 10" charts of the Danish radio with more than 10,000 copies of sold. A true Danish hippie blockbuster. The English version of Alrune Rock was ready for the stores in in March of 1973. Alrune Rock is at both melodic and full of improvisations. It belongs to the top of the Danish underground scene among Young Flowers, Culpeper's Orchard, Burnin Red Ivanhoe, and Hurdy Gurdy, just to name a few. Their musical style is often described as a hybrid between The Grateful Dead and early Pink Floyd. A Danish rock classic. Shadoks Music present a reissue of Moonlight's The Edge (Modern Dance In The Twilight Zone), originally released in 1978. All the members of Moonlight came from the same town of Turku, located in the south west of Finland. They met each other at school in the mid '70s. Their ambition was more to focus on making their own music and sing in English which was not the common in Finland at the time. Kim Trapp and Anders (Andy) Winter were the actual composers and Björn (Bob) Wasenius made the lyrics. Paul Kanerva helped out with both from time-to-time. Their musical influences were Steely Dan, Procol Harum, Santana, Pink Floyd, along with Ian Dury and Blondie. They had a large scale of music they liked and listened to, playing music by Uriah Heep and Led Zeppelin before composing their own pieces. Their music was, as a result of a large scale of interest, some kind of mixture of psychedelic/progressive rock and melodic softer music. Moonlight was active between mid '70s and 1979. They got a record deal in Finland with Top Hits and released this album in 1978. For fans of Finnish bands such as Hamlet, Wigwam, Nimbus and Session. Originals are very rare. 2015 release. Shadoks Music present a reissue of the self-titled album from Hurdy Gurdy (1972). Emerged from the Danish group Peter Belli and the Boom Boom Brothers (aka The B.B. Brothers) in June 1967, when three members of the B.B. Brothers, guitarist Claus Bøhling (of Secret Oyster), drummer Jens Otzen and British vocalist and bassist Mac MacLeod formed the power trio Hurdy Gurdy. Inspired by Cream, Hurdy Gurdy has amazing guitar work all over the record from Claus Bøhling. Claus also designed all the artwork for the single cover and rare poster, plus many unseen paintings on the printed inner sleeve and insert of this reissue. The 7" single included was on famous Spectator Records. What the band Charlies was for Finland, Hurdy Gurdy was for Denmark. Extra heavy guitar psychedelic with great drums and bass and extra cool vocals, on the same musical level as Cream, sometimes even better. 180 gram vinyl. 2015 release. Shadoks Music presents Jail Sessions from Finish legends, Charlies, recorded in 1969 and 1970. This album was recorded in 1969 and 1970 in Charlies rehearsal room, a "drunk tank" at the local jail. Since Kari Lehtinen's father (later on known simply by the nickname, Pitkä) was the local police officer, the band could use this room for playing and recording. After Charlies finished Musiikkia Elokuvasta Julisteiden Liimaajat (SHAD 163LP, 1970), they got a lot of positive feedback, but they never thought the final product sounded right. Pitkä (bass) and Eero (guitars) spent a lot of time considering how to deliver a much harder sounding album as a follow-up, representing the true Charlies spirit. They got the chance to make a new album, Buttocks (1970), which was released by the famous Love Records label. The result again was only as good as the budget resources provided. Although in the end, the album Buttocks gained a good, hard reputation, they were never content with it. One night Pitkä said: "Eero, we should have made our album from your tapes, the result would have been much different." Jail Sessions is a recording from those tapes, the sound the band was happy with. Much heavier in sound, amazing electric guitar, 100% pure heavy underground sound. After 45 years this Charlies album comes out as the band wanted it to sound like with many alternative versions of songs from the Buttocks album and unknown songs as well. 180 gram vinyl. 2016 repress, originally released in 2013. Jokers Wild recorded three singles between 1967 and 1969 in Minnesota but the complete album, Liquid Giraffe, was never released. Starting as a five man band, most of the material was recorded by the three main members: Lonnie Knight, Denny Johnson and Pete Huber. Lonnie Knight became guitarist of The Litter for a while but he returned to Jokers Wild. Jokers Wild was a powerful band - Huge amp stacks guaranteeing a "wall-of-sound" on stage, double bass drum and cool outfits. They must have been great on stage. Damin Eih, A.L.K. and Brother Clark wrote: "In '67 I saw two local bands that again amped up the juice, The Litter and Jokers Wild. Both bands played original music and had excellent psychedelic-raved guitar players, Zippy Caplan (Litter) and Lonnie Knight. That brought everything to a new level." 2015 release. Shadoks Music present KKB's self-titled album, recorded in New York in 1974. KKB is: Bruce Kulick - guitars; Mike Katz - bass & vocals; Guy Bois - drums. With Bruce Kulick on guitar, who later became famous as the guitarist of Kiss (for 12 years), Meat Loaf (Kulick was a member of Meat's Bat Out Of Hell touring troupe) and Grand Funk Railroad (with whom he has been a member since 2001). Shadoks Music presents a reissue of Rock Machine (1974) by Blueset. This great Swedish album by Blueset was recorded in Södertälje, not far from Stockholm. Blueset recorded two singles on Efel prior to the album plus another single the same year this album came out. Since at least two of the original members on the album have passed away, it has been a hard search for the music owners. Shadoks was able to find the original bass player from the singles, Ingemar Linder (who also supplied all photos) and Kerstin Loong, the widow of Kenth Loong, guitarist, singer and composer of the album. Blueset on Rock Machine is: Kenth Loong - guitar & vocals; Mikael Olofsson - bass; Claes Jansson - drums. This LP has one bonus track from a rare single with Ingemar Linder on bass. Rock Machine is highly recommended for fans of hard rock and heavy blues-psych, stoned hippie vibes, heavy guitar work, great English vocals and strong bass and drums grooves. 180 gram vinyl. 2015 release. Shadoks Music presents a reissue of Sepi Kuu's Rannan Usvassa (1980). Until now there has been no information at all about Sepi Kuu. It wasn't even certain if Sepi Kuu was a real band. Sepi Kuu was a one-man project and the music has never been performed live. The artist kept his real identity hidden behind his alias and wants to keep it this way. It all started February-March 1980, when Maarit, the wife of the poet Mikko Tola, got in touch with Sepi Kuu and asked him if he'd be interested in composing music for her husband's poems. Sepi Kuu did all the arrangements and played all the instruments, except for the bass on track six. Often the acoustic guitar was recorded first, then the other instruments: electric guitar, drums, synthesizer, flute, Indian bells and/or clay drums were added one by one. The vocal parts were always done last. The twelve songs that make up Rannan Usvassa contained influences from psychedelic to folk and oriental. Sepi Kuu said rather the psychedelic-prog-folk of the English band Comus was a big influence for him but also Pere Ubu, Suicide and Joy Division were found as influences. Rannan Usvassa is full of real stoned sounds, dreamy dark vocals, strange vibes and atmospheres, all connected to the poems of Mikko Tola. 2015 release. Shadoks Music presents Writing On The Wall's The Rockfield Sessions, recorded in 1973. Writing On The Wall were a Scottish psychedelic/progressive rock band from active 1967 to 1973. Continually on the road for six years - everything from radio, TV, British & European tours - Writing On The Wall were one of the very few bands to have held two residencies at the famous Marquee Club in London. The band issued only one official studio album, The Power of the Picts (1969). Like many evolving groups caught in the midst of rapid musical evolution in the late sixties, Writing On The Wall retained much of the blues influence which they mixed with a heavy and sometimes uneven blend of psych. They had idealistic and often abstract lyrics reminiscent of groups like Blues Image, Cactus and Babe Ruth. Writing's music tended toward a more somber tone than most of their peers, and the band further distinguished themselves by relocating to England to make somewhat of an impression on the British scene of that day. The band recorded for DJ John Peel in late 1968, and released their sole album on Brian Waldman's fledging Middle Earth label. Waldman also served as the band's manager, and secured them gigs in his club, also named Middle Earth. The Rockfield Session where recorded in 1973 with a new guitarist/singer and saxophone player. Jimmy Hush, the original Writing On The Wall drummer, located the master tapes and mixed them for the first time. 180 gram vinyl. Comes in a heavy velvet textured sleeve. 2014 release. Shadoks Music presents the reissue of Session's only album, Unikuva (1974). Session was a Finnish rock band founded in 1970. They played the typical experimental rock common of the '70s but added their own touch of creativity to the music. While the majority of the lyrics were in Finnish, their music stands out compared to most progressive rock bands. Their most active time period was between 1972 and 1974 when they released two 7" singles and one album, Unikuva (1974). After disbanding in 1975, some of the members joined Elonkorjuu. But Session is rarer and as good or even better. If Charlies is the Finnish equivalent of the Cream, Session might work in the same musical style as bands such as IF and other progressive rock bands on the Vertigo label. Unikuva is a strong progressive rock album with loud guitar solos, organ, electric piano, horns and most significantly, fierce, driving bass. 180 gram vinyl. 2015 release. Shadoks Music present the never before released White Light self-titled album, recorded in 1976. White Light was a progressive-rock group originally from New Orleans, then later from Austin, Texas, USA, where the group once recorded with Sonobeat Records (Mariani, Wildfire). White Light was comprised of Mike Hobren (guitars and vocals) Rob Haeuser (bass and synthesizers) and Rusty Haeuser (percussion and flute). On White Light's self-titled album, fans of mid-'70s progressive rock will be treated to a real romp of experimental music that utilizes a host of instrumentation and special effects. The group's music is powerfully expressed on the track "Pacemaker". Mike Hobren employed a diverse range of styles and techniques on the guitar, including the use of a cello bow on the introduction to the track "Stargazer". Rob Haeuser's bass grounded the music perfectly, and his synthesizer work was, at times, haunting. Rusty Haeuser provided well-rounded percussion to inject a powerful rhythm line into the music. White Light was heavily influenced by progressive groups like Yes, Pink Floyd and Weather Report, to name a few but with a fresh twist of their own. 180 gram vinyl. 2014 release. Shadoks Music presents the first official vinyl reissue of Ernan Roch's La Onda Pesada (1971). Almost nothing was known about this mysterious record until Enrique Rivas managed to make contact with Ernan Roch. Ernan Roch's album was recorded in Mexico in 1970 with, El Amor a band who recorded three albums for Capitol Records. His outstanding song "The Train" has a similar vibe to Damon's "Song Of The Gypsy" (1968), with great fuzz guitar all over. Ernan sings all the songs in English, which is not very common for bands from Mexico. Includes a four page insert with liner notes and photos. Comes in a heavy sleeve. 180 gram vinyl. 2014 release. Shadoks Music present a reissue of Yury Morozov's Cherry Garden of Jimi Hendrix (1973). This may be the first time a western label is releasing an underground album from former USSR. Yury Morozov has sadly passed away but Shadoks worked out a release with his widow Nina for this amazing album. When Yury was asked in an interview of how many albums he recorded, the answer was 14,7 kilo (tapes). There are 45 albums by Yury and hopefully they will come out in Russia as a CD Box and Shadoks would release more. Cherry Garden is an amazing album full of effects, great songs, tons of fuzz guitar, sometimes dark and heavy, sometimes light and funny with the atmosphere of a Tarkovsky movie such as Stalker (1979) and Solaris (1972). Yury plays most of the instruments, and he actually built his gear and effects. Later on Yury recorded in London at Abbey Road Studios and became friend with many famous British musicians. Yury Morozov is an enigma of Soviet underground music. In 1973, his music was only available as tapes exchanging hands among fans since he did not match the political and musical Soviet guidelines. 2014 release. Shadoks Music present a reissue of Hamlet's only album Linnanherra (1977). Hamlet formed as Survival in 1973 and played many concerts in Finland. The highlight for the band was during in 1977 when the small town country boys got to make their first album, Linnanherra. They were booked at the best studio in Finland, Finnvox in Helsinki, together with the British sound technician Ian Churches. The producer wanted them to change their names to Hamlet for a better sale point (given the new outfit on the cover). The band never agreed but the Discovox label released the album under the new name with a new medieval outfit on the cover. This extremely rare Finnish progressive rock album was later withdrawn by the label. Linnanherra was the only album the band recorded. The music might go in a similar direction that Finnish Session, heavy psych progressive rock, heavy lead guitars all over, great songs and very well produced. Personnel: Jouko Nykter - vocals; Hannu Nykter - guitar, vocals; Jouni Limingoja - bass, vocals; Harri Kannel - guitar; Kalle Kähkönen - drums. Shadoks Music presents a reissue of Obus (1974) from Nimbus. In May 1973, the band Mafia changed the name to Nimbus and recorded their only album in 1974. The Nimbus's live repertoire consisted mainly of own compositions but they would still play the occasional covers of Frank Zappa among others. Soon after the release of Obus, Nimbus went through some line-up changes and a bit later the band would break up. Nimbus remained inactive for over thirty years. In 2007, they reformed for a single gig. Nimbus's music is pure vintage-sounding Finnish progressive rock and psychedelia of the early seventies, of the same level as Wigwam, Tasavallan Presidentti, or Session. This reissue includes two bonus tracks recorded as a TV broadcast in January 1974. Obus is a progressive masterpiece from Finland.
