Pursuing their explorations of international funk and disco music, Favorite Recordings and Bruno "Patchworks" Hovart present Voilaaa, an expansion upon Favorite's series of 12" disco reissues (e.g. FVR 099EP and FVR 104EP). Following such projects as The Dynamics, Mr President, Mr Day, Patchworks Galactic Project, and Taggy Matcher, Patchworks now returns to his first love and specialty, disco, and draws upon African and Caribbean influences. His unique beats and basslines accompany guitars, keyboards, and brass, distorted with vintage effects pedals and boxes. These tracks features vocals from Sir Jean and Pat Kalla.
