The extraordinary trio creates a fascinating, atmospheric fusion of electronic sounds, piano, violin, percussion, field recordings, and mystical Ladino texts and chants with Metamorfosa. Metamorfosa is a new band project founded by Marlene Schuen (Italy), Dimitri Andreas (Belgium), and Marc Romboy (Germany). The arrangements, co-compositions, and production come from Marc Romboy and Dimitri Andreas (Music Man, Systematic). Marc Romboy has been releasing electronic music since 1991 and has performed worldwide in legendary clubs like Berghain, Rex Paris, Fabric London, and Womb Tokyo. Marlene Schuen's lyrics for Metamorfosa revolve around nature and stories of mythical creatures in the mountain world of South Tyrol, taking the listener into the world of her homeland. Her impressive voice and singing style deeply touched and fascinated Marc and Andreas from the very beginning, ultimately inspiring them to create this fusion of electronic sounds, atmospheric piano parts, violin, field recordings, percussion, and Ladino singing.

The release of Marc Romboy's album Voyage De La Planète in 2017 (HYPE 002CD/LP) marked a new era of his career. With ten rather beatless tracks where he combined his definition of electronica with classical instruments like violin, cello, double bass, and piano Marc began to walk the path of fresh sounding music for the brain. The title track has been the most successful one so that Marc called no one else than Erased Tape's poster boy Ben Lukas Boysen from Berlin to contribute his very own interpretation. Ben created a typical and unique version which comes along with a, believe it or not, 4/4 kick pattern towards the end. But listen yourself, it totally makes sense. And Bordeaux's best Ocoeur made a short but epic ambient version you also should not miss.

After the great success of his new-classsical album Voyage De La Planete (HYPE 002CD/LP, 2017), Marc Romboy releases a special 7" single. And once again as he experiments with his sound-pushing the boundaries between classical and electronic music to create both an emotional and atmospheric experience. The title track "Voyage De La Planète" was especially taped at the Robert-Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf to create a high-grade recording of each classical instrument. The difference between a studio room and a concert hall is remarkable. "La Lune Et L'Etoile" comes along with an outstanding piano-only version.

Double LP version. Includes download code. Marc Romboy presents his upcoming album Voyage De La Planète, his first solo full-length production in over eight years. Released on his newly launched Hyperharmonic label, Voyage De La Plantète signifies an exciting new chapter for Marc as he experiments with his sound, pushing the boundaries between classical and electronic music to create both an emotional and atmospheric experience. "Jules Verne", named after the French science fiction writer, combines echoing arpeggios and a subtle woodwind harmony to create a cosmic soundscape. "Atome De Danse", "Symphonie Oblique", and "La Machine Du Temps" use elegant strings to further enhance an unearthly effect, title track "Voyage De La Planète" mixes the two mediums together with fluttering synths and somber strings before "La Lune Et L'étolie" builds introduces the bustling sound of the piano to create an upbeat melody. Whilst there is a strong classical influence, there are tracks on the album that reference Marc's electronic background. This can be heard in "L'Univers Étrange", which has an ambient sound, whilst pitched-down chords take "L'Universe Parallèle" to a dark and moody space. "Phénix" is a bass-driven track, layered with crashing synths, taking the journey to a high before the celestial experience draws to a close on an uplifting note with "Nocturne", a laid-back soothing track that exudes optimism and wonderment. Inspired by a concert with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra where he performed Claude Debussy's works in a contemporary way, Voyage De La Planète signifies the start of a new chapter for Marc Romboy. Voyage De La Planète combines the strange, fascinating sounds of electronic music with the sublime beauty of classical music to create an extraordinary sonic experience for the listener. Mastered by Steffen Müller. Double LP version includes a download code.

Double LP version. Includes download code. Claude Debussy (1862-1918) was one of the most popular and forward-thinking composers associated with impressionist music. His innovative and at this time new way to compose music with non-traditional scales and chromaticism inspired countless artists from the likes of Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Miles Davis, and Herbie Hancock. Remarkable attributes of his music include the usage of parallel chords, bitonality, and the many compositions using whole-tone and pentatonic scales, all of which are reminiscent of contemporary electronic music where you hardly find limits or boundaries when it comes to traditional, harmonic sounding scale tone music. After studying countless composers of the last centuries, Marc Romboy decided to accept the challenge to edit, remix, and reconstruct several works of his favorite French composer, ranging from "La Mer" to "Prélude À L'Après-Midi D'Un Faune". Romboy on Debussy: "One sentence of Debussy impressed me a lot when he said that he simply intents to write new sounding music. This is and has been exactly my goal, to create kind of unheard sounds." On the album, Romboy performs together with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra, the renowned conductor Ingo-Martin Stadtmüller, the well-respected Düsseldorf based concert master Miki Kekenj, and sound programmer Ali Khalaj. The recordings were directed December 12th, 2016. It's the first live recording ever released on an album where electronic sounds and classical components are merged in such manner. Mastered by Steffen Müller. Includes dropcard with download code; High grade artwork and packaging by FELD, Berlin.

Voyage De La Plantète pushes the boundaries between classical and electronic music, creating both an emotional and atmospheric experience. The first impression of this new sound can be heard on this 10". The album opener "Monde Futuriste", which blends together beautiful strings and soft flittering synths, merges the beauty of the violin played by Miki Kekenj and electronic arrangements, "Voyage De La Planète" mixes the two mediums together with fluttering synths and a somber string quartet.
