RVDS presents his second album Shadows as a 3x12". A musical journey with acid, deep house, deep techno, jazz, ambient, love and so on... All tracks by RVDS. Guitar on "Minuet De Vampire" - Philipp Schneider; Voice on "Galanty Show" - Giada Pesce. Mastered by Helmut Erler, Dubplates & Mastering. "Richard von der Schulenburg has managed to remain something of a cult proposition even as he now moves alongside respected outfits such as Smallville and Uncanny Valley, also based in his hometown of Hamburg. As RVDS, the producer has largely issued his music himself through the It's label, starting out with the Hausarrest 12 inch in 2008, while stopping off at Laid to deliver the excellent 'Moon Oddity' single and plenty more lunar-minded releases besides. . . . he has also been a resident at Golden Püdel for the past 11 years, long before it was so hotly tipped on the international party circuit." -- Juno Plus.

"I Can't Sleep" features vocals by Giada Pesce. Mastered by Rashad Becker. Vinyl only.

RVDS is back on earth with his Space EP, which starts with three rhythm tracks -- a tribute to the Roland machines 808, 606, 727. The first track is an electro hymn, and the second and third tracks are fine rhythm tools that force you to dance on the moon. The last track is a great ambient piece, similar to RVDS' work with Lawrence and Christian Naujoks on their project Sky Walking. Each sleeve comes with a unique handmade drawing by RVDS himself. Art and sound in space. Available only on vinyl.

RVDS' Summer EP is the soundtrack for the summer of love 2013. It starts with a great acid track with Tin Man, then comes a very kitten-ish, catchy, Casio track, the simple "Trip to Sun." "Beat the Heat" is a kind of Italo-percussion weirdo and "Love on the Beach" is soulful, electronic Barry White on acid. All tracks are fresh with great percussive delay. Artwork drawn by RVDS himself in comic style and in color.

Lunar Eclipse is black, dark and deep. It's the moon behind the sun. Rvds makes another tribute to the TB-303, black vinyl and Detroit techno with three tracks: "Noises In Black" (vinyl only track) is a symphony -- 12 minutes of noise, acid and synths, the deep "Strings In Black" with heartbreaking chords and finally "Lunar Eclipse," a kind of deep synth-jazz track. Limited to 303 stamped and hand-numbered vinyls.

2LP version. Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF) is a method used to analyze the surfaces of materials by firing extremely flat X-rays. Subsequently, the physicist Joachim Knoth (1941-2004) developed a patent for precise measurement of defects in semiconductor chips. In 10 sequenced-based electronic miniatures, Felix Kubin, who presently consists of dangerous uninsulated powerlines, conducts the TXRF through an acoustical test arrangement. The experiment consists solely of a synthesizer, filter and sequencer. Full-bodied consecutive organisms arise out of which kaleidoscopic iridescent blossoms sprout. At times they appear as acoustic by-products of high energy discharges on an X-ray picture and sometimes as quiescent fluorescent images. Who knows when the experiment will come to an end? Will X-rays break at irregularities? Will transparent ears crawl over fixtures and make laboratory benches corrode? In view of the entire event's musical beauty, all these questions are completely unimportant. Felix Kubin is one of electronic music's most dynamic and versatile personalities. A love-child of the home recording era, his various experiments and epithets include radio playwright, composer of Futurist and Dadatronic experimental pop as well as chamber orchestra music, filmmaker, incendiary performer, record label owner, lecturer and curator. He has made artwork in all sorts of fields since the 1980s, after studying media art at the ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Enschede, Netherlands and illustration/animation at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. Kubin's music is saturated with enthusiasm for disharmonic pop, industrial noise, and 20th-century avant-garde music.

Four raw, deep acid tracks. It's moony: the first track is a TB-303 monster which shows us the way to the acid moon -- the ritual makes us crazy while the moon-beats move our feets (thanks to the TR-707). The moon signals make us travel in space, on another level. We land on the moon and take a walk. It's a poem and it's acid. Limited to 303 copies.

2LP version. This is the first full-length album on the It's label for Germany's Richard von der Schulenburg aka RVDS. It's deep, acid, fragile, party, lonely, and special. After the EP Waiting, Kiss And Love comes Moments, inspired by classic deep and acid house. Old instruments such as the TR-808, Roland JP-6, Wurlitzer E-Piano and some others are combined with new accents, but always with a special bent towards Detroit music. Special tips go towards the tracks "Acid Dream" and the vocal track "Pain."

"A Different Jimi (Siebels) lives in Hamburg. He runs a label, a studio and has recently become a devoted DJ after being a producer (Ego Express, Sand11, A Different Jimi) for more than a decade. Pascal Fuhlbrügge lives in Hamburg. He hosts the monthly radio show 'Im Wesentlichen Clubmusik' on Byte.fm. He also produces theater soundtracks and music for other artists. Pascal Fuhlbrügge on this release: 'When I did a solo album in 2005 that contained a lot of songs about dancing and almost no dance music, I thought that my life with repetitive electronic music might be over. Three years later, Jimi invites me to visit his new studio. We end up producing a new track. To my surprise, it feels very lighthearted, new and exciting to me. I hope you can hear some of that in 'The Belles.' 'Two Deep' is my favorite track of Jimi's recent productions. It might not be as easily accessible as his hit 'I Don't Know Why You Say,' but it's even deeper, more hypnotic -- an adventure on the dancefloor, with everything heading towards the song's one and only chord change about 5 minutes into the track.'"

"Yes, he is a member of Egoexpress. But no, he isn't Egoexpress. He is a different Jimi. As the label's first official act, the president of It's (Jimi) has released his own solo debut 12". Like a conscientious smithy, he hammers and drives until all those little pony feet are hooved and clad with the best of shoes. And if that iron isn't at least 100% excellent, then it goes back into the fire. But finally, three hot irons have made it onto black gold. Two of them will get you galloping across the dancefloor: '1753 Angelo' and 'I Don't Know Why You Say.' Two poppy house tracks -- because house is the sound of now and exploding harmonies are Jimi's unique way of conquering dullness with a different kind of musical euphoria. The third track 'My Hang' has the beauty of a Moondog composition, something that is more than hard to find these days. At long last -- something really fine."
