"Berlin club life never ceases to surprise us. Despite its huge reputation around the world, it's still a relatively small scene, mostly taking place in a handful of clubs and venues within a few square miles in the city's run-down east-side, And just when you think you've met everyone, and seen everything, a new character pops up, with a new style and a new sound. Daniel Offerman is one such character. When Daniel isn't producing 'in your face' minimal techno with an old school house feel, or making short films, or organizing strange, conceptual afterhour parties, we don't know what he gets up to."

"With their third release, Just continues its policy of signing newcomers from our close environment. Kock & Wilck are old friends who have established a very organized working relationship. Sebastian is the structure man, Fabian the sound designer. They now live together in Kreuzberg, Berlin. These tracks were amongst the first we heard from Scampi and Fabian, only months after they had first set their hands on a PC and started to experiment. 'Für den Garten' strictly caters to the peaktime on minimal dancefloors. Its huge, jittery riff in addition to cleverly crafted beats and well arranged drops definitely deliver every time. '(Nichts) für den Garten,' on the other hand, shows the duo from a more contemplative, spaced-out side. This track is the perfect soundtrack for gliding into blissed-out mornings."

"During his studies of electroacoustic music in Vienna Efdemin (Phillip Sollmann), who releases solo on Dial, met art student and DJ Rndm (Oliver Kargl). Both were equally interested in minimal techno and ended up in the studio soon after. They soon decided to test their invention live and kept recording their sessions on stage and in the studio. From those sessions a very minimal yet warm aesthetic emerged. Their music has a peculiar swing and sound that would have not been possible without their selfmade software. After long days of browsing through megabyte after megabyte of their recordings, Pigon dug up the most interesting sections, applied some editing, added a few elements here and there and finally came up with 'Auf und Ab' und 'Hin und Her'."

"With three My My EP's and a forthcoming album for Playhouse already finished, and our monthly night My My and Friends at Watergate up and running, myself, Nicolas Höppner and Carsten Klemann were thinking of what to do next. Matt offered to remix 'Kinder Country' and the label just was born. 'Kinder Country' is the theme to a summer that never happened. It's warm texture and subtle funkiness provide a soundtrack for warm mornings and long lazy days subdued by a melancholic cloud that dampens the brightness. Matt John's Vollbart remix accentuates that mood, by stripping down the elements and locking them down over his own, unique groove."
