Dapayk Solo, Berlin based producer and veteran of the minimal techno scene, announces the release of his tenth studio album, The Calling. This latest project will be the producer's first solo album since 2015. The first track on this eight-track 2x12" is "The Calling" and it starts off with a pang of energetic, chopped beats before exploding into a brassy melody, continuously gaining momentum. "Blackout" immediately announces itself as a next generation Detroit house anthem. The rolling synths, hi hats, and vocals make this one of the most outstanding tracks on the album. "Aurora" stays true to its name with a buildup composed of throbbing ethereal synths that give the track an otherworldly vibe. "Flood" transports listeners to the dancefloor with its pulsating bassline combined with Komplement's quaint vocals. The second part of the album begins with "After All", one of the most enticing tracks on the album. It combines the groovy rhythm of four-to-the-floor percussion with tantalizing vocals by VARS before "Low Tinnitus" reverts to Dapayk's signature minimalist sound. The transition into "Wanderer" continues the momentum built up by the previous tracks. The closing "Walk With Me" is a deep-house jam that features a rhythmic shaker layered under Mental Bend's powerful vocals. Dapayk Solo, alias Niklas Worgt, isn't afraid to try new things. With five aliases under his belt, he continuously strives to experiment with different styles and production techniques to create innovative sounds. Throughout the span of two decades he went from producing drum'n'bass to house to ultimately crafting the groovy, edgy techno sound that he's now known for. In 2017, he released an LP titled Harbour (FENOU 007CD/026LP) with his wife Eva Padberg under one of his many projects, Dapayk & Padberg. While that album aimed to steer away from traditional club beats, The Calling sees Dapayk reassume his deep, dark, and infectious sound. While Dapayk is often categorized as a minimal producer, the LP proves that he is capable of extending beyond the scope of a single genre. The Calling is just another example of why Dapayk has managed to stay in the scene for so long: he loves electronic music and he's great at making it, too. Includes free download code with four exclusive digital tracks: "Zoe's Intro", "Halo", "Angel's Share", and "Zoe's Outro".

Patrick Vano's next installment on Mo's Ferry takes you on a journey. InDustRealized EP is an adventure ride between techno and house with side trips into minimal or psychedelic areas. After his Tape Jam EP and the following remixes, Patrick did not sit back complacently. He mixed and compiled Selected Vibes, Vol.5, was part of the Mo's Ferry takeover of Boiler Room in Berlin, and, not to mention, the long nights he spent in the studio for this release. The result is quality tunes right to the point.

On "Sink This Ship", Padberg unfolds her matured voice, which shows more confidence than on previous records. Dapayk skillfully puts her voice in a common scenery, where the straight beats are long over and where is space for extravagances and inventiveness. Robot Koch and Bebetta remix the track, ensuring suitability for the dance floor. Robot Koch skillfully disassembles. building on the emotional base of Padberg's vocal part and Dapayk's warm bass line. On the flip side, the slight melancholy of the original track gives way for a typical Bebetta tech-house beat that flows in a dreamy, yet simply irresistible manner.

Mo's Ferry, Roland Europe, and Dapayk present the winner of the "Transformation Remix Contest," winner Ricky Ambilotti, whose remix of Dapayk Solo's 2015 track "Transformation" (MFP 078EP) got most of the votes in the final public voting. A reworked version from Dapayk Solo's minimal techno beard-o alias Marek Bois features on the B-side, completing the perfect follow-up to Dapayk Solo's acclaimed 2015 album #nofilter (MFP 079LP).

Producer Niklas Worgt aka Dapayk Solo presents his fourth album, #nofilter. Since 1996, Worgt has been regarded as one of the most creative and versatile protagonists of Europe's club scene. Several projects for his label Mo's Ferry Prod., like the I Love Vinyl festival or his work on Dapayk & Padberg releases, have kept him busy since 2010. He finally got some solo time in the studio, and after having explored a more melodic and gentle side on his last two albums with Padberg (Smoke (MFP 067CD/LP, 2013) and Smoke (Family Remixes) (2014)), he now turns to more experimental, edgy productions. "I wanted the sound to be very focused," says Worgt about #nofilter -- more straightforward, more reduced, more analog and dirtier than "anything I have done before." On #nofilter he combines elements from his early days in breakbeat and drum and bass with minimal and tech-house, resulting in his very own unique signature sound, far off the beaten club-sound track. Worgt aims to challenge his audience, willing them to see that there is more than just one way of doing things. He's aware that "some of the tracks might not be for everyone at first glance. But it's always good to do things in an unexpected way, to change the listener's perspective." Worgt also shows his provocative and humorous side with the album title, statistically proven to be one of the most commonly used hashtags. "I wanted to look at the cliche of the big, gloomy nightclub, where everyone has to be credible and cool all the time, with a hint of humor. I think it's important to show people that there are different levels on which they can have fun and just enjoy themselves." #nofilter is a perfect demonstration of how much Dapayk Solo is enjoying himself and his work. "If you had asked me ten years ago where I would have seen myself today, I wouldn't have been able to give you a straight answer. If someone asks me that question now, I can say that I will definitely be making music."

The Tape Jam EP is Patrick Vano's fourth release on Berlin-based label Mo's Ferry. The A-side, "Rhythm Disease," crackles and rumbles in the typical sound for which Mo's Ferry is known. "Drone Shadows," on the flip, is much quieter, and Vano plays the techno bow in wide and flowing moves -- most suitable for the later party hours.

Following the success of their fourth studio album Smoke (MFP 067CD/LP, 2013) and a year-plus tour, Dapayk & Padberg present "Come Out," a fresh and present track and the perfect tool to dance into spring and out of thick winter clothing. On the B-side the Berlin-based electronic duo presents two more album remixes. Mooryc wraps "Smoke" in his fragile, soulful, and bass-driven slow-mo-electronica. Dublin's Eomac extends the list of "Silent Fireworks" remixes. A deep wobbling sub-bass combined with broken beats and spheric pad sounds give the original an eccentric touch of dubstep.

Dapayk & Padberg welcome the autumn season with Layers. The original version, from their 2013 album Smoke (MFP 067CD/LP), is a delicately-written piece of slowly-evolving poetry, and it's presented here wrapped in interwoven coats. The new clubby "Layer 3" version by Dapayk & Padberg is haute musique, leaving not only a warm shiver in your head but also salt on your skin. Chloe's remix follows, with impressive minimalistic clarity. The B-side features a jazzy remix by Rampa, who gives the song a light accent of playfulness.

This is Patrick Vano's third release on Mo's Ferry. The new EP is about anti-gravitation. Vano tries to bring this topic to the dancefloor with minimalistic means. "Gravity Drive" reveals his keen sense for timing and balance of warm, roaring beats, ravy hook lines and blockbuster vocal snippets. "Sick Bastard" locks the listener in a time loop. A beat dry as a bone and a constantly repeating melody -- rough and reduced to the max. "Hopeless" has spheric, almost psychedelic elements, thematically referring to the trance genre.

The new Mo's Ferry 12" Beat Hit Repeat is release no. 2 by Italian youngster Greeko. The A-side containing the title-track and "The Best for the Rest" belongs to dry grooves and accented bass patterns. On the B-side Greeko focuses more on room effects. The track "Wild Spirit" shows that he is not afraid of excessive melody parts. Greeko's previous releases on Yuma, Sincopat and Noir Music show that this guy has big goals in mind.

After the release of his album Angular, Mathias Schaffhauser and Mo's Ferry present the new remixes. Nicolas Masseyeff and Jorge Ciccioli ensure international scope as well as musical variation. Masseyeff turns "The Best Bad Idea" more into the fuffy tech-house genre and gives the track a refreshing summer flare. Ciccioli stays faithful to his roots and packs the track "Schnuppe" in a minimal techno dress. The typical foundation of a rumbling sub-bass sound and a dry machine beat is topped with a truly hypnotizing bass line. Also features the two original tracks by Mathias Schaffhauser. Technoid sound without compromise and to some extent brutally pushing forward.

Mo's Ferry presents the first remix from the album Smoke (MFP 067CD/LP) by Dapayk & Padberg. Marek Hemmann turns the track "Fireworks" into a lively, ear-catching hymn for every sun-worshipper. He makes use of the full toolbox -- from ultra-harmonic bass-lines to pleasing melodies. Dapayk sat down again and formed a new version of this track with focus on danceability. The remix grooves into your ear but retains the longing mood of the original version by spreading the lead vocals in far distance. The second track on the B-side is the album version, for comparison.

Jedi Jet graced us with their presence on Mo's Ferry more than once, most recently with their mini-album Little Things. Somehow, the two Croats always make the right combination of rocking house grooves with funky Frickelsound treasures, which they gather at the wayside. With Two Side Story, they celebrate their minimalistic weirdness on a fully-packed 12" four-tracker. UK-based producer Tom Ellis contributes an easy-going, reduced, but tremendously swinging remix of the title-track. The flip continues with quirky rhythms supported by a punchy kick drum. It simply rocks.

Mr. Statik returns to Mo's Ferry with his EP Roll Down the Shutters, which has received massive support from Sasha Perera (Jahcoozi). She also performed the laid-back vocals on this release. Remixes by Dapayk and Daze Maxim complete the package. The original track shows influences in dub, but with an elegant touch. Statik also uses minimalistic '80s drum-sound patterns, smooth bass lines, tape-echoed chord sounds and Perera's vocals. Dapayk moves his remix more in the tech-house genre, while Daze Maxim's remix is more in the minimal direction. Mr. Statik himself marks the finish of the EP, and his dub mix slowly rolls down the shutters.

In September 2013, Mo's Ferry presented the fourth album Smoke (MFP 067CD/LP) by Dapayk & Padberg. After their last album on Stil Vor Talent in 2012, the duo now opens the door to a gloomy-melancholic world. Dapayk & Padberg consciously turn their back on the dancefloor and abandon the formerly typical balancing act between club sound and listening electronica. Even though the A-side of the present single is certainly made for the DJs, it shall be the sole exception to their current creative path. The downtempo version of "Smoke" on the B-side already reveals the new Dapayk & Padberg uneasy listening mixture.

Gatefold double LP version with download code. Change, transformation, development -- these have always been the motor behind Berlin electronic duo Dapayk & Padberg. On their fourth album, they have made, perhaps, the most uncompromising step during their 10-year career, in which they have become one of Europe's most fascinating club acts. Their magic formula? Looking for alternatives. With Smoke, they bid a temporary farewell to the dancefloor. They are taking new paths, searching, trying new, never-before-seen patterns. These paths led the duo from the golden hills of Provence to the dark, autumnal lowlands at the border between Scotland and England. The influence of those places is felt throughout the whole record with its atmospheric hybrid tracks. After their album Sweet Nothings (SVT 073CD), with its summery/ funky sound, Dapayk & Padberg now open the door to a gloomy, melancholic world. While Sweet Nothings was a balancing act between the club and home-listening electronic, the duo now turns their back on the dancefloor to take the listener on an acoustic tour through their personal Amber Room. With their chamber-electro mix, containing characteristics of dubstep, catchy pop-elements, classical string arrangements and a singer/songwriter-like intimacy, they create new sound-rooms. Dapayk & Padberg's albums have always been snapshots of their current emotional world -- with Smoke they created their most consistent and self-contained collection of songs to date. Against all expectations, sometimes even against their own natures as artists, they let go of all-too familiar and comfortable structures. Smoke is all about overcoming those lines between different genres, letting go, opening their mind to the new, without worrying about fitting into a certain niche or having to compromise. "Silent Fireworks," with its song-like structure, brings to mind the hymns of Lamb, Jamie Woon or James Blake. Eva's voice delivers a broken intimacy which is carried by Niklas' adventurous and sophisticated sound structures. The hypnotic "No Words" starts out with Eva's ethereal, fragile vocals spun around a dry, blurred electronic track which then explodes into a huge, unknown universe of sounds. "Headless Queen" was inspired by the imprisonment and execution of Mary Queen of Scots in 1587. The inspiration for the album title came not only from those cold days spent in Scotland but also has its historic routes in Niklas' family tree. "My grandmother is a true well of inspiration. She told me that she was faintly related to the Austrian painter Oskar Kokoschka, so I decided to name one of my projects Kokoschka. But also, that there was a blood relative on her side of the family who came from England by the name of Smoke. The name has been spooking around in my head for years and I always wanted to name an EP or track after it. We thought that it was an excellent title for the album."

Darlyn's second appearance on Mo's Ferry meanders between techno, house and a little bit of funk. "The Morning After" is a minimalistic techno weapon, straight-forward with no frills. With "Stag Party," the Frenchman switches to a bouncing house groove that feels powerful and self-confident. And finally, "My Command" creates a warm and deep mood, just perfect for the morning hours... and you can never go wrong with a funky guitar lick.

Mo's Ferry presents a super groovy house EP by [a]pendics.shuffle and Dilo. On the A-side is the driving but also kind of trippy "Wonderful Wonderfall." Dapayk's remix adds more definition to the track and moves it towards the techy department. The deep "Drifting Away" on the B-side impresses with beautiful laid-back vocals embedded in a dreamy cloud of slowly spinning pads. Kenneth Scott partly waived the deepness to give room for extensive and creative bass line work.
