"Strong release from Redwan It sounds acid, minimal, old school and modern in the same time. Definitely well done by the boss of the imprint. More, there's a huge peak-time dancefloor killer by Sarah Goldfarb and his friend Sam&Dave&Lowran (Stir/unfoundsound)."

"This new EP talks about an unreasonable and animated flight between N.Y. and Las Vegas in August 2007. The two tracks delivered by Sarah Goldfarb have been produced just before and just after this American trip with her crazy friend 'Dadou.' 'Twenty-four Dollars,' (Peter Minuit bought Manhattan Island from Indians for $24), the flip side, tries to be functional and hypnotic at the same time. Probably a real burner for the crowd with a special work for upbuilding arrangements and quasi-tribal percussions. Played by Sarah, many people said that it's one of her best productions. 'One hundred and Ten Fahrenheit' (could be the temperature in Las Vegas during summer!) is the finale of the travel -- the music must be good at the end. With some dub elements, this track sounds like an emergency alarm with a huge acid sequence's breakdown. Redwan takes care of the remix. This is a family release -- his 'Twenty-four Dollars' interpretation has more electro-house vibrations than the original. The sexy voice and the 'bang bang bong' electro bassline make a hypnotic tool full of intensity."

"High level remixes from our two favorite English guys. Mark Henning with a very serious techno track and Glimpse with something a bit different than usual, less minimal and more powerful. Important: 'Magda Had A Little Troll' is an original track by Pheek."

"Techno bomb cooked by Jin Choi, probably one of the most talented newcomers from Cologne, and an amazing nine-minute remix from nobody else than Baby Ford! Oriental and very hypnotic, recommended for the heroic DJ set..."

"Second part of the collaboration between the great DJ Butane and Roman Photo, this volume is still serious and deep but with more groove and functionality than the previous one, especially with the track 'detained with bruno.' Anyway too much words are not necessary, music of Butane is really suggestive and really good for your imagination, so the best is just listen, dance and maybe dream with Techno for Whirrled Peas Volume 2. Volume One was supported by artists such as Luciano, Troy Pierce and Lars Sandberg."

"This new RP release proves again the real complicity between the befriended labels, foundsound/unfoundsound and Roman Photo. Following up Someone Else, Butane, Dilo vs Gurtz, now we have Miskate -- a girl hailing from Philadelphia with rapidly growing fame. Melodicuckoo is an EP full of sensibility and personality. This is weird and unusual techno music that can cause an earthquake on the dancefloor -- using micro-samples of her pleasant voice and field recordings. She creates minimal house atmospheres with amazing and obscure rhythms. The long-play track, 'Melodicuckoo,' seems to be playful and serious all at once. A minimal vibe, dubby effects, trippy melodies played with a melodica, and quirky percussion all join together to create a mind-numbing journey for the head and body."
