Slam City Jams is back with its sixth release, welcoming mysterious producer Westcoast Goddess. Written and produced between 2002 and 2018, this record contains everything house music heads could wish for: Sweet chords and strings, topped with heavy 909s, plus a cheeky little vocal shot on "Satisfaction & Clarity". The title track sounds like a late-night drive with the top down. "Open Heart" is a sample-based house tune, heavy on the low end and super sweet on the tops. "In Search Of Darryl P" is the perfect track for the late hours, with never-ending trancey synths and euphoric strings.

Munich-based Slam City Jams kicks off 2019 with their fifth release. Label heads Rhode & Brown gather four favorites to remix 2018's Wave 100 EP (SCJ 004EP). Public Possession poster boy Bell Towers took dibs on "Love Lane" and makes it even more funked-up and lovable, C.K from Aarhus' finest imprint Regelbau gives "Sparkle" his beautiful classic house touch. Klasse Wrecks head honcho Mr. Ho turns title track "Wave 100" into an epic space journey that builds up till the end, while Bostro Pesopeo rounds up this remix EP with his trance-y take on "Moon Bells".

Slam City Jams head honchos Rhode & Brown debut on their own imprint. On the title track there's a euphoric hint of '80s synth nostalgia, slapped bass, and banging woodsticks. "Sparkle" oozes sweat with phat bass, sweet flutes, and strings. "Love Lane" is a classic house track with a funked-up bassline, shuffling snares, and the most erotic vocal in human history. "Moon Bells" is the soundtrack to that road trip you did back in '86 with a Juno 106 arpeggiator bassline, percussive drums, and airy synths. "Over Europe" is made of beautiful ambient spheres straight from outta space.

Slam City Jams is back with its second release, produced by young Brussel based artist Kassett. When it comes to his music, Kassett, aka Gavin Vanælst, isn't about genres, he's about emotions. However, asking him what he would call the sound he makes, his simple answer is: "Rave Ambient". The All I Feel 1 Million EP is a record full of diversity: emotional and dreamy, ARP-based ambient tracks with rave and trance references, to broken beats, weird synth solos, up to a rough but melodious techno tune. Lobster Theremin regular Imre Kiss delivers a dark and dubby version of "444".

Munich based label Slam City Jams presents its first release with Grids EP from Canada's Gonima. Opener "Grids" starts off with lush synth blips, 707 drums and a bassline Bootsy Collins would appreciate. "Subdivided" doesn't need more than a few elements to get you going: A rough kick drum, cowbells and a smooth pad that gets slapped by just one bass note. The ambient-like "Organ Tutorials" shifts the listener to outer space. Khotin remixes "Subdivided" with his unique trademark sound. Four house and ambient tracks both for the floor and the couch.
