The third and final remix package for Mathias Kaden's highly-acclaimed album Studio 10 (VA 004CD/VA 030LP), featuring two reworks by Onur Özer and DeWalta. Özer's "Hâre Remix" is a massive, bass-driven rework for Kaden's "Chazz," taking the track to a deeper, more jazzy level. David Koch aka DeWalta takes on "Ikenga," maintaining the acidic vibe of the original and adding his very own dancefloor funk.

Here's a set of splendid remixes for Mathias Kaden's highly-acclaimed album Studio 10 (VA 004CD/VA 030LP). The A-side sees a remix by Luna City Express and Matthias Tanzmann, who reworked the 36-second disco interlude "Roots" to a full-length house hitter. On the B-side, Studio 10 collaborator Florian Schirmacher and his Wareika project rework "State Of Stasis" (featuring vocals from Gjaezon). Schirmacher manages to turn this Detroit-influenced tune into something crazy from outer space. So get with it.

Late in 2009, Mathias Kaden's debut album Studio 10 (VA 004CD/LP) was released, garnering positive feedback from the scene's most important DJs. Vakant follows up with a series of remixes for this very important album. DJ Koze lays into the album's dub track "Kawaba," featuring the voice of singer Tomomi Ukumori. Deeply-pitched vocals and Koze's very own groove give this remix a very special appeal. AFFKT delivers a peak-time tech-house remix of "Mascleta" that is already causing a storm.

Once again, renowned artists have come out in full force, reworking selected tracks off Onur Özer's Kasmir album for Vakant's remix-only Vakant R. Isolée takes Onur's otherwise chilling "Innervoice" and reinterprets it into a thick, warm blanket of reassuring bounce. Flipping the record inverts dimensions of time and space. Abyssfully-deep legend Baby Ford takes the already ethereal "Aida" and turns it into the soundtrack for finding the God particle.
