DJ and production superduo youANDme are back at it again. Their first full EP on Vinyl Did It delivers three great tracks that reflect the duo's wide musical range, from the deepness of "Ghosts," to the darker introspectiveness of "Nightvision" and the dancefloor house of "Black Jack," this is another youANDme must-have record.

Label boss Fluen delivers one for Vinyl Did It. "Guayaga" sports a clean-cut house vibe sure to sit well in a properly-constructed set. The youANDme edit gets dirtier with some pop-locking, stuttered snare hits, head-bobbing bass, and dramatic, fuzzed chord stabs. Vocals get snipped up and ripped reversals give way to a fierce main line. "Give Me More" is a classy house slab, with sleek, dubbed-out organ chords and an oldschool snare that lets the house heads know it's about to get serious.

"After excellent results with the first three releases, it is label manager Dia who comes out with the next release on Vinyl Did It. Roaches Travel in Groups is an EP complete with the right amount of house and techno elements, never leaning too close to one style yet retaining a familiarity and elements from each genre to make it appealing to just about any music lover. On the A side, 'Left There' kicks off the record with vintage-like house pads and piano. The second track on the A side, 'Winds of Tomorrow' takes things into techno territory with classic 909 claps, prominent hi hats, and filtered synths, upbeat, fun, and more of a peak time track. On the B side, Dia shows us a sound that she dominates and clearly has defined her previous EPs, leaning towards the often called 'afterhours techno,' with a strong, deep, hypnotic track, 'Scrape;' made up of small sounds and carefully placed percussive elements that carry the track nicely, all this topped by a contagious voice that seems to invite us into a parallel universe where the only thing that matters is the music."
