MOTE 052EP
Oliver Deutschmann's hard-edged beats, insistent tones, and occasional flash of devious humor make him a natural addition to the Mote Evolver roster. Deutschmann's deft usage of split-second samples on the opening track "Seduced" -- a distant, repeated murmur and a dense acid bassline. The interlude "Apsurt" follows with lofty, faintly ominous synth pads. "Survive", like "Seduced", relies on the repetition of a single reverberating word to set the tone, while the hammering drum patterns fill in the details. "Lost" dispenses with vocalizations completely and lets the steaming mechanical processes take center stage.

ETB 022EP
Berlin-based DJ Oliver Deutschmann returns to Etruria Beat following his remix of Dast's "Architect" (ETB 018EP, 2014). Get ready to blow up some dance floors with these hard-hitting monsters. Etruria cofounder Luca Agnelli's muscular, stomping remix of "Resist" precedes the original, a funky, driving techno stomper with house chords and a hypnotic voice saying "resist" at 132 BPM. "Hope" delivers a melody in the best Detroit tradition and powerful 808 drums. French techno stalwart Electric Rescue morphs "Hope" into a powerful loopy journey; synth hellfire at its best. All four tracks are Berghain-approved and have rocked countless other floors.

FALKPLATZ 010EP
"My idea behind Falkplatz Schallplatten was from the beginning to release 10 catalog numbers and shut it down after. So, it took me four years to come to this point and it definitely feels right to do this step. In the meantime I founded a few other labels that are more heads-down and where names don't matter that much. Thanks to all the artists who helped, supported and delivered their creativity to Falkplatz over the years. Without you it wouldn't have been possible. You know who you are." --Oliver Deutschmann

VIDAB 001CD
Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner Oliver Deutschmann announces his debut album, Out of the Dark on Vidab. Oliver runs Vidab with label partner Stephan Hill, together curating an impressive catalog of quality, raw and analog-infused house and techno. He also created the Falkplatz label as a further outlet for his energetic A&R tendencies. Firmly established in the underground, Deutschmann has stood behind his unique brand of 4/4 beats for more than a decade; a permanent fixture at Panorama Bar for over four years with his dubby, pushing house vibes, old school drums, intense peaks and driving modern dramatics. Developing a strong signature sound, Oliver translates real emotion and atmosphere into his productions, with bold, crisp and powerful drums, resonant, textural synth-lines and a stylish talent for keeping things locked down to hypnotizing effect. Each element coming to life through his analog recording chain, the results we find are Deutschmann's most precise, powerful, and honest yet. From the bold intro of "Fever," with its soaring '80s synth vibes, a string of incredibly crisp tracks unfolds, reaching early heights with the futuristic storytelling of "New World Order," then swooping into the depths with the melancholic "Sadness Descends." Out of the Dark is Oliver's personal response to the world around him. Indeed, it's a tough world sometimes, and just like the music within, we're often reminded it can be a beautiful and inspiring one, too.

SLIM 001CD
Featuring 100% exclusive content from the likes of Christopher Rau, Moomin, XDB, Ron Deacon, Ed Davenport and Quell, Future World is the first commercially-available mix compilation from Panorama Bar resident and Vidab/Falkplatz boss, Oliver Deutschmann. Released on Slim Audio, the brand-new label offshoot of Berlin's free Slim Magazine, Slim TV and art/music/culture festival Slim Week, Future World sees the city's own Oliver Deutschmann segue together an uncompromising selection of dubbed-out house and raw techno. From the static, otherworldly opening sounds that lead into a shuffling piano-led piece of cinematic house in Ed Davenport's "Living Rooms," Future World manages to be hypnotic and surprising throughout. London's Bearweasel turns in an uncharacteristically brutal, broken and atonal cut in "Ripped Down," we see Robert Bosco at his most austere in "Untitled," XDB at his most aggressive on "Raw Wolid" and Deutschmann himself at his most retrospective in "Tourist Crap." Elsewhere, we see the brilliant Christopher Rau and Moomin team up for the drum-fuelled deepness of "A Place at Night" while Ron Deacon's crisp yet haunting downtempo melodies in "Tea for Two" are worked into the final throes. Every transition is smooth on Future World, but Deutschmann never fails to highlight the differences between each track he selects. The contrasting nature of every sound, tone and rhythm is constantly highlighted in this mix and it makes for a narrative that twists and turns just as a perfect club set should. Future World mixed by Oliver Deutschmann is here released in mixed and unmixed versions. Other artists include: Jeroen Search, Tres Puntos, Markus Suckut, The Deputy, Drehwerk, Tomas Svensson and The Borderland State.

KONV 001EP
"Konsequenz sets on its new course delivering a warmer housier sound on classic vinyl format. The first release comes from one of the hottest producers out of Berlin for this genre, and co-owner of the fresh Vidab label, Oliver Deutschmann. 'Big With Nobody' is the first track conversion of Deutschmann's live performance, which made head ways after a series of performances in Berlin's finest Panorama Bar. On the A-side, we find 'I Wont Tell You Why' featuring Esmeralda. Starting off with the pumping bass, leading to deep percussions and vocal journies, backed by a more bouncy up-to-date remix by Kolijah. On the flip, the 'For Those About to Dub' delivers a more Latin deep house feel accompanied by a stripped DJ tool version. 'I tried to create my own interpretation of the deep house sounds that influence me, blended with the feeling that I transform in my live show into this EP,' says Duestchmann, which manages to capture the essence of the sounds hitting the clubs at the moment. This sound will also be featured in upcoming Konsequenze releases from artists like Marlow & Comixxx, Pelle Buys, and Vek & Hakimanu."
