The Giöbia album Plasmatic Idol is simply impressive: a collection of different sounds and atmospheres, brings the listener to another sidereal world full of dreams and mind travels. You can clearly feel the influence of certain Pink Floyd in some passages but also pinches of Italian progressive rock, horror soundtrack sounds from '70s movies, '60s garage influences, US West Coast psychedelia, and late '60s space rock a la Hawkwind. The production is delicate and smooth, the album flows without interruptions and the music immerses your mind in a cosmic dimension. The vintage organs and synthesizers are used in the best way possible, eight tracks that capture your attention without distraction. Produced by Bazu, the guitar player and singer of the band. Mixed and mastered by Brett Orrison (Black Angels, Jack White) at Spaceflight Records in Austin, Texas. Cover artwork by Metastazis.

Originally released in 2015 on Sulatron-records, Heavy Psych Sounds re-release this incredible space rock, heavy psych gem. New mastering, new graphics, and a new song added to mix: the heavy psych/freakbeat masterpiece from the London band The Open Mind called "Magic Potion". Magnifier as an album really does have it all... Ace psychedelic stylings, heavy space-rock, lysergic sixties grooves, and delicate shimmery shoegazing. It has a heaviness that will appeal to some, and a delicate touch that will appeal to others. Another undisputed success for Giöbia. New incredible artwork by Laura Giardino.

"Giobia celebrate an intense neo-psychedelic-rock, who is deeply inspired by the sound of the late sixties. Next to Guitars, Bass, Drums and Organ they use Sitar, Bouzuki, vintage Keyboards and Effects to create a colourful and swirling sound. Their vocals are often in the background to produce a more far out atmosphere. All that filled with love and passion for their music. A very tasty album and a true highlight. The new album Magnifier is ready to suck you into a lysergic vortex of exotic mantras and Sabbathian rituals. The sound of the new album is heavier and darker than the past records, but always unique, and at some moments will reveal the intimate bond that we've always had with the '70s Italian progressive. Giobia has been one of the most influential psychedelic bands in Italy over the last years. Seduced by the lysergic side of the '60s, by exotic mantras and the evocative power of space-rock, Giobiais a band from Milano, Italy with many facets and one only faith, that is to turn every encounter with sound into a psychedelic experience. Giobia - comes from an ancient pre-Christian festivity celebrated in Northern Italy when a big straw puppet resembling a witch is burnt as a propitiatory ritual towards the forces of nature. All Song written, arranged & performed by Giobia."
