Housemeister is back and guess what -- this time he only needed a handy little OP-1 synthesizer to make you feel giddy. But rewind: who is this master again? One of Berlin's long-standing techno maniacs. By the tender age of 17 he had been hit hard by punk, rap, grati, turntables, basement parties, Love Parade, Mayday, weed, 150 bpm, and legendary clubs like E-Werk, Tresor, Wal-sh, and Electric Ballroom. A heavy rave virus sucked up his body and soul, and in 1995 he moved to Kreuzberg to start producing high-energy music right from the middle of rave capital, Berlin. Some time later he released four albums with the BPitch collective and subsequently he seduced Europe with his intense techno. From then on, Housemeister kept riding the wave -- playing everywhere and every weekend. Finally he released his debut album Enlarge Your Dose on Boysnoize Records in 2005. In between he produced several EPs for BNR, launched the label All You Can Beat, and dropped on it with Who's That Noize?, another album that proved his party-crazy skills. Instead of resting, Housemeister continued to produce like a well-oiled machine and with 2011's Music Is Awesome album, he delivered overdriven arpeggios, punk rage, acid house psychedelic, and hard-style attacks. And now, he's back again to pad his heavy discography with another killer. Everything on OP-1 was made during his tour adventures with only his portable laboratory of sounds. The tracks on this concept album are called "Tokyo," "Berlin," "Paris," or "New York" and represent in sound the big city lights in whose shadow Housemeister tuned his brand-new tunes while being on the go: on airplanes and in hotel rooms. He recorded everything only with a little OP-1 synthesizer and made sure that his creativity bleeps like hell. Go ballistic to Housemeister's unique design of musical frenzy that wants nothing more than to drive you crazy.

LP version. Comes with a CD copy of the album. Housemeister is back and guess what -- this time he only needed a handy little OP-1 synthesizer to make you feel giddy. Everybody better bring some towels, because Housemeister is about to soak the world in electro champagne. Presenting his third full-length album, the dirty don of club music has done it again, touching ravers' hearts and hitting them right on their heads at the same time. Within the arts, good ideas are hard to find, and masterful musical output is pretty hard to achieve -- and with a thousand shitty drugs flooding the streets of music today, it isn't everyday that you come across grade A stuff like this. Music Is Awesome is shit that's straight from the kitchen, and Housemeister has produced this batch like a 5 star chef. It seems playing clubs and crowds all over the world do add to a player's game. Add class and confidence. Add experience and excellence. Add balls as well as balance, and 15 years of hardcore DJ-dom to be able to come out and kill like this. Music Is Awesome: Could any phrase be more simple and true? Could any DJ come up with a better beat-down of arty-farty music chit-chat, nipping critics in the bud, just like that!? And how could someone who's played a million records maintain such compass and focus? The unique studio-zoo of tools and toys he uses, his refreshing, hands-on, open-minded production approach, the iconic brand he's built, all showcase Housemeister's special qualities. This picture disc vinyl release is made for techno-monster collectors. Featuring contributions by Boys Noize and Jan Driver. Mastered by Lupo at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin.

Legendary dirty man Housemeister will blow out his third mother-L fucking-P Music Is Awesome for the wicked, and rave will reign again. But you can't just stick your face out into this kind of quality noize -- it would mini-melt right off, see!? So Housemeister took instant classic electro anthem title-track to some players and friends such as Boys Noize, Feadz, Bonaparte and Cosmin TRG for some sandblasting. This track is so brutal, people are gonna die dancing!

Housemeister presents the second volume in his Beef Jerky series. "Sommer" is probably one of his most melodic jams, reflecting a never-ending summertime breeze in Berlin. "IckSchnallUp" and "Verflixt" are great tools, "Famous" is a typical Housemeister pusher and "Hyperactive" feels like a track that Jeff Mills could have done in his early techno days. All in all, this is not just an ordinary sequel, this will mark the next level, the next shift to the real deal.

Housemeister is back on BNR with his EP Beef Jerky -- 100% analog-produced techno and breakcore outside of any trend. "Who Is That Boys" is a pure Housemeister-style banger with crazy beat programming that is guaranteed to rock the club. "Beef Jerky" is a dirty breakbeat-core track with a Chemical Brothers, back-to-the-roots vibe. "Rambo" is a tropical beat mix of Baltimore, dubstep and techno, "Vakuum" has a deeper Rephlex techno feeling and "Gehacktes" is a cool beat tool for an anti-rave.

"Housemeister set a high value on this 4 tracker 12". Just like with the attractive 4-color cover. About the music: 01_ bassline and bass drum are really pumpin' fat, nevertheless you can find classical song structures here. 02_ is a pretty soft but very groovy dancefloor track with the voice of Housemeister & good friend and muse Katrin Turner. 03_ 'Likelike' was arranged, composed and programmed with Playstation Portable at the beaches of Thailand. With the Rhythm 7 free software you are able to control everything with the joystick. You can find a 303, filters, sequencers and many more. Plus you are able to turn the knobs and involve your own samples... check that crazy shit. 04_ 'Radio4you' is not a classic dancefloor track, but has a bit of disco feeling in a industrialish and morbid style, more EBM than anything else -- featuring the romantic voice snippets of Katrin and that deep bassy voice of Housemeister himself."

"Berlin-based Housemeister from Bpitch Control and Doering from Freizeitglauben joined forces for their very own record label: Allyoucanbeat, meaning everything you can bolt down -- technoid substance to bite; else -- a platform for friends. As a launch they present 'Dertagdanach,' a melancholic minimal pumping 12": A1 'dertagdanach': A personal track to resolve the past. Introverted techno for the time after some experiences in the last two years. A new beginning with partly relief, partly a slight melancholy that goes with the melody. B1 'Cheerleaders': The cheerleaders keep time with their motto. Housemeister sampled them and put more drama to it with movie sound bites. B2 'Hotel mountpellier': A broken beat track, as dramatic as it is melancholic."

"If you ask concretely what Anti_Gestern means then Housemeister will answer: 'simply looking straight ahead, without further making formulations, leaving everything open. It's not against retro, but rather pleading for newness while not forgetting the original feeling of Rrriot on the dance floor.' 'Einfach.Kicken' sounds exactly how one might imagine Housemeister as a person: an independent ball of energy where sunlight sometimes emanates out of the stroboscope. The whole EP never loses sight of the dance floor. 'Einfach.Kicken' entertains with little gimmicks, glow worms on acid. It's worth noting lastly that the whole song was recorded as a session. In the middle there is a transition that makes you flip out. Forget the 70s kids. That was yesterday. Today there's Housemeister. And by the way, Dr. Caligari would be thrilled."

"Housemeister teaches us again what it means to rock. This is no order, to the contrary. It's rather a fast moving follow-up to the Anti-Gestern-EP (BPC061). To put it with a Russian twist: with Bortsch you must also eat at least two plates. We thank Housemeister for his steady drive to move, which has kept him slim and given us the 'Psycho' workout."
