BRK 004EP
Toby Tobias finally releases his debut on Burek. Toby brings his unique view on house music with two tracks: "Running Away" and "Tres Mal." "Running Away" is a classic house peak-time tune with a '90s bass line, wonderful melodic synth-stabs and a vocal sample which at its peak simply drives people crazy on the dancefloor. "Tres Mal" is cleverly arranged, with a fat bass line and high quality production. Remixes by Homebody and Be Atwell.

REKIDS 003CD
This is the debut full-length release by London's Toby Tobias. This promoter and resident DJ of the long-running "Late Night Audio" uses his experience to build on his successful singles on Rekids (A Close Shave, Dave's Sex Bits, and Nervoso EP). "The Feeling" features the beautiful words and vocals of Kathy Diamond and is already quoted as having "end of the night classic" written all over it. It is ridiculously funky and addictive. With tribal beats and rubbery bass, spacy, chilled-out guitars and grooving synths, Space Shuffle is meant for home-listening, the tropics, and the dancefloor. Toby's profile is fast growing internationally as a DJ -- he plays a key role in Rekids label nights, and has countless festival bookings for his live act. He has also released work on Odori and Tiny Sticks while remixing everyone from Bent to The Diaphanoids.

STICK 013EP
"Toby Tobias has firmly established himself as a player in the disco scene with a couple of great releases for the Rekids label. Epic, warm, uplifting disco-boogie is the order of the day here. The Chicken Lips provide a remix under their rarely-seen Zeefungk guise and do the damage with more club focused re-rub. Pete Herbert skillfully re-edits the mix to maximize its dancefloor appeal."
