This is the second full-length release from Chelonis R. Jones on Systematic. Chelonis R. Jones is an American artist of the old school tradition -- leaving NYC for Europe, in order to pursue a career in the world of the arts. Armed with his paintbrushes, unpublished manuscripts, songs and poems, he decided to commit himself fully to the vitriolic world of the artist. Working as a songwriter and vocalist in more than 20 rock/pop groups, luring controversial praise from top magazines, in 2001 he was signed to Get Physical Music. His first collaboration with M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade started the ball rolling, and the deep house anthem "I Don't Know?" followed, which topped all playlists and the Belgian dance charts twice, and put the artist on the map, with thousands of broken hearts to respond and relate. 2005 ignited the self-produced, controversial, lo-fi masterpiece Dislocated Genius (GPM 005CD), until in 2008, he worked with giants of electronic music such as Röyksopp, Corrugated Tunnel, Booka Shade, Hell, Marc Romboy and many more. 2008 introduced his 4gottenfloor project (with Alex Dandi) and 2009 was the year of a label change to Systematic Recordings, and the CD release of the highly-acclaimed dark diamond Chatterton (SYST 008CD). After endless live shows, featuring the likes of Spektre, Oliver Huntemann and Booka Shade and Röyksopp, 2012 is to be the time for his second album on Systematic Recordings, entitled The Prison Buffet.
