"Here we go with Mark Henning's 2nd EP on Frankie Recs. A two tracker EP titled Vick For President EP -- we start off with the A-side 'Biggity Giggity,' a track of pure madness! Comprising a mix of quirky sounds and distorted harmonics synths, this is a great example of Mark's ability to combine both a solid groove and a dark atmosphere at the same time. This song definitely kills it on the floor! On the flipside, 'Monster' is even darker and more mental, combining subtle synths arrangements and bleepy FX sounds, it's perfect for late sessions. Two beautifully sinister, outstanding cuts!"

"Brett Johnson is back and strikes again with three pearls of jacked and twisted techy house bombs on Frankie Recs with this Implied Connectivity EP. A boompty electric record in pure Brett style. On the A side, 'Finger Painting' starts with that gorgeous sick vocal serving hypnotic and incisive melodies keeping the tension and the groove intact -- with tact and jack! Followed by 'Twiddle Sticks' with plenty of roll and drums attacks, 'delayed and replaced' with FX and clicks -- sounds so great with Brett's subtle stereo arrangements and so ready for a washing 'shake' machine tour! On the flip, 'There and Back Again' on the long side with weird vocals and sweet original percussive (kind of xylo) melody serves deep voices and subtle noises which sounds like cut blast attacks which definitely gives a more powerful turn to the track. A perfect DJ weapon! All pressed on a beautiful light pink record. Classy!"

"After his first release, Bleep That Glitch EP, Sergio Munoz aka Delete is back for a second strike with three original funky techno tracks and a brilliant remix from the Uruguayan duo Monoblock. We start with A1 track 'Marco Polo,' an original piece of funky techno mainly composed using weird and hypnotic, subtle melodies mixed with cut voices, which gives a deep mental atmosphere. This follows with A2, the remix by Monoblock, which keeps the mental side of the original and adds melodic deep pads creating a great arrangement. On the flip, B1 is 'Hide and Seek,' a more straight groovy techno tune floor-filler for sure, and we conclude with B2 'Tags,' a funky track from Delete's mental side."

"Welcome on board to Mossa with this 4-tracker EP including an amazing remix from Pheek. Starting with the long A-side, actually 2 tracks in one with Mossa's original style mixing distorted bass line, weird cut voices syncopated rhythms... damn huge on the floor. On the flip 'Colorado Bitch' -- a bit darker than his usual style with a distorted cut vocals creating a deeper spacy atmosphere definitely an interesting sight of his production remixed on B2 by Pheek who turned it into a brilliant piece of groov'n quirky house."

"We're very pleased to welcome Donk Boys aka Thomas Jaldemark and Martin Abrahamsson, two talented Swedish producers from Malmö with a bunch of solo EPs out on their own (as Bauri & Thomas Jaldemark) through a subtle mix of weird elements, twisted arrangements and freaky sounds, they definitely create their own typical style... for this 23th release titled Cpstyre EP Let's start on that side with 'Cpstyre' track which is without doubt a floor burner defined by this huge distorted melodic and weird bassline in a constant evolution which can remind an old school style in the vein of Herbert or Mr. Oizo and in the same time completely in our days by using a just few elements. Looks like when minimal meets freaks. Strike!"

"On A side -- Abnormal Boyz... three talented producers from Naples give here three original tracks between funky tech house and modern click & cuts house with a very personal approach as it combines unpredictable sounds and a constant groovy side. Definitely the way of the label the three tracks have naturally a powerful dancefloor impact. A1 is 'Keep It' a tecky house piece with an interesting demonstration and use of bleepy sounds and dark melody added with groovy bassline and warm voices. B2. 'Flickering' is more weird housey and at the same time groovy as hell with cuts of voices, incisive drums and several lil' heady sounds...,and for closing this side, the A3 'Definitivo Anonimo' is perfect as a tech house original DJ tool with a huge kick...check it! On the B-side, we're glad to welcome David Mariscal, a talented Spanish producer who delivers here a monster track titled Ping Pong which is a clever combination of clever use of fx complex structure and a nice sense of groove."

"The first release from Todd Sines in 4 years. Featuring vocalist Natacha Labelle, it's a collision of house, techno, funk and more... underwater pads + organs, throat-like noises and breathy, seductive vocals from Ms. Labelle. Todd Sines comments: 'Painstakingly crafted over the course of 4 years, these tracks were individually recorded in 4 different studios in Toronto and New York, with a variety of obstacles to overcome. The transition from Mac OS9 to OSX, Logic to Live, Mac to PC, PC to Mac, Live to Logic, 48.1 to 320 kps MP3 to 44.1khz, analog to digital, digital to analog; not to mention 4 major relationships, a few flings, a few intercontinental flights and 6 different apartments.' This EP is a testament to the hardships Mr. Sines and his loyal cats have endured over the last 4 years."

"Track A1/Luke Solomon remix: starting with one of this typical groovy rhythms as he with dry drums with little weird elements and so funky Luke pushes the groove and the tension of his mix with the add of a heady mental voice and a captivate synth in constant evolution...damage on the floor! Track A2/ Claude VonStroke remix: Claude VonStroke is the founder of the successful Dirtybird records label author of the tune 'Deep Throat' played every where and is one of the hot house producers of the moment...check out this remix! Claude pushes the weird side of the original track keeping the vocals and completely turn the track in a huge freaky funky crazy house tune -- what more can we say? Huge groove and burner on the floor for sure! Track B1/ Ziggy Kinder remix."
