Together with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, Oslo's Prins Thomas created the climax of the on-going fascination with retro-futurism with their self-titled debut album for the Belgian Eskimo label. Thomas' own label Full Pupp has some of the best house-not-house, neo-disco or call-it-what-you-want dance music records on offer. All exclusively made by Norwegian talent, the label has released modern classics on 12" singles, such as Prins Thomas' "Goettsching" and Todd Terrje´s "Italian Stallion," and unleashed a wealth of new talent on full-length CDs, such as the essential Greatest Tits Vol. 1 collection. Full Pupp features the most complete and original selection of Norways´s disco and house, but its sound goes much further, spanning genres as diverse as techno, electro and even rock.

FP 075EP

Eight years after DJ Sotofett's last visit to Full Pupp, the label received some tracks perfectly timed and perfectly primed for that elusive number 75 release. This time teaming up with Rex Ronny, the label are stoked to have him back and even more stoked about the music engraved in these grooves. DJ Sotofett and Rex Ronny embodies a solid seven-track EP for Full Pupp with a strong Sci-Fi pallet of cosmic-Italo racers. Epidermis is not another conjectural nu-disco record but a strong disco-dub infused travel in rhythm and melody. The entirety of the EP is bound together by four galactic synth tracks and three driving disco cuts, all with an individual approach. It's a solid nod to the excellence producers of Italian disco and UK left-of-center dance music has taught us since the late '70s. Rex Ronny (aka Ronny Nyheim from PsyPal fame) was challenged by DJ Sotofett to play all synth parts live in the studio, for Sotofett to mix the material in his new studio set up for ultimate cosmic, dance, and dub sonics. To perfect the rhythm suction, congas by Stiletti-Ana (from Jesse) was added in the mix, and LNS contributed with a harmony-bridge for maximum pathos.

Full Pupp is 15 years old and the label mark the occasion by inviting old and new friends to contribute a track each. Doc L Junior from Tromsø returns to the Full Pupp shores with a track that took the label 15 years to get their hands on. Blackbelt Andersen made this fun little track for him to play out, now you can too. Bjørn Torske was the first person asked to contribute music to Full Pupp's precursor label, Tamburin. The label is pleased to finally have him on board. DJ Fett Burger as DJ Fett Birger rehashes an old remix he did of Prins Thomas.

Ivaylo's music has always been rooted in house and its myriads of forms, from the deeper soulful sounds from the US of A to the more recent plinky plonky style from the Romanians and the Chileans. With a pinch of his Bulgarian roots and a splash of Full Pupp (Prins Thomas co-produced, played instruments and helped mix down the record) this mystic brew comes highly recommended. Ensom Kraft EP will be released as a vinyl 12" containing five tracks from the digital only album "Ensom Kraft". The full album will be included as a download code (includes three additional tracks).

Although a new Rett I Fletta 12" by Christian Engh is ready to drop, Full Pupp just had to share this piece of fine cheese with you. The trance-y AND heavy original on the A-side and a slightly "disco-fied" but over-the-top version on B-side, and finally a little teaser-version towards the end. Something for everyone!

Magnus International returns with a percussive, drum- and beat-heavy, tripped-out set of "tribal" rhythm tracks in a stunning early Danny Tenaglia tradition. Daniel "Blackbelt" Andersen adds some strings and extra soothing drama but the concept for both is clear -- New York Sound Factory early '90s. You wonder what Junior Vasquez would have played the two hours ahead of dropping the latest Stevie V? Try it out, with Cosmic Rhythm Session's "Cosmic Jam" on steady repeat.

Fuck Reality regular and Oslo native Mats Frantzvaag debuts on Full Pupp with a stunning, amazingly-crafted four-track EP. Fine arrangements, seamless flow, slow-burning deepness, full of freshnees, light and grooveeness -- Frantvaag's sounds stands out and tall. Like Winston Churchill said: "This is not the end, not even the beginning of the end -- this is the end of the beginning" There's much more to come...

Ivaylo returns to Prins Thomas's on-point Full Pupp label for a release defined by its imaginative take on contemporary house and techno. Featuring three peak-time dancefloor tracks, Syklon is a release that speaks to discerning dance floor connoisseurs in emphatic fashion. The dubby, weighty sounds of "Syklon" get the release underway. "Aerodynamisk" is another impressive battle weapon, with this one drenched in positive, sun-glistened sounds and emotive overtones. "Karla", a baseline-led jam that really comes to life with the piano keys come into play.

Following his debut Auto (FP 013CD/LP, 2017), Chmmr delivers Try New Things, a new collection of music to inspire half an hour. The sophomore album features (in order of appearance): prefab naiveté, idle saturdays in early fall, inaccurate weather reports, lead arias for courtship, a planet, romantic stage pianos, an ode, and a post-LAN party mood. All in all a fitting backdrop for any function that's about opening oneself up, be that in solitude or in good company. This record is meant as an imperative to the listener: try new things. One may regret it; it might backfire. Do it anyway. Obfuscated behind his Chmmr moniker is Even Brenden, whose warped debut made it into this world via Norwegian psych-disco label Luna Flicks in 2010. The record became somewhat of a sought-after item, and after making pit stops at Relish and Dødpop as well as remixes for Prins Thomas and Skatebård, he ended up with the Full Pupp label in 2014, generating a string of singles that culminated in the highly praised full-length Auto in 2017.

Geir Hermansen, aka Velferd, has caught Full Pupp's ears with his keys. On "The City That Drowned", there's bliss, sun, warmth, heat -- all painted bright with skyrocketing masterful synths over very neat and dry bass. Laid back and somehow dreamy, the whole EP catches you by the ear and lingers on, but then there's so much dedicated kick and an almost ecstatic groove in each track. "Never" and "Through The Valley" add on to where the title song just left and give this three-track EP so much perfectly arranged strength.

A leopard can't change his spots and Magnus International earned his spots in the sequence hue of Oslo's disco scene. After an inconsistent hiatus from recording, the Norwegian DJ had donned the producer cap for his debut album Echo to Echo on Full Pupp (FP 012CD/LP, 2016). Now, Magnus's "Synths" are on again, like a breath of fresh air and sunlight, these four tracks roll on to the world from Oslo´s shores? and as his usually best Magnus is very strong on seemingly endless grooving chords and timing, sweet harmony-centric bliss and tight, on-the-point drum programming. Chmmr provides a remix.

Double LP version. Having released of string of 12"s since 2010, Even Brenden, AKA Chmmr (pronounced "chi-murr"), recorded his first full-length, Auto, over the spring of 2016. A true nostalgic, he uses Compass Point-era and early Italo sounds for inspiration, and attempts to simulate these styles. This makes for a melodic, chuggy, and graphic album that belongs a little more in the living room than on the dancefloor. With ten tracks of dusty rhythms and the honest, naïve, and spacious themes that is Brenden's signature, it's a record designed to signal that today's technological future may not be as different as yesterday's. Hidden behind his Chmmr moniker is Even Brenden, whose summery debut found its way into the world via Norwegian psych-disco label Luna Flicks in 2010. The record became somewhat of a sought after item, and after making pit stops at Relish, Dødpop, and Untz Untz Records, he landed on Prins Thomas's Full Pupp label in 2014 and have stayed put ever since, all the while enjoying a steady habit of record jocking and the occasional keyboard duty in Telephones' now-defunct live band. Even resides in Oslo makes odd waves without vowels. Cover painting by the late Harold Cohen's AARON program - automation at its finest.

Since LAARS epic crowd surfing days touring with his former disco-band Tôg, he has been honing his production skills with more metric music inspired by the classic godfathers Patrick Crowley and Giorgio Moroder for Lysår/None. Making playful, percussive house music with a disco heart is one of LAARS's passions that come into play on this 12".Sampling hits from his favorite records, sweeping filters, playing on his Juno 60 and having his band mates come in to play percussion and synthesizers over some of his grooves. The mysterious Willy Nickersen has remixed the songs into deeper territories.

Chmmr, aka Even Brenden, is back with Media Vision. "Understand" and "User" are more direct, the first more percussive straight up to the floor the latter more piano driven and with a playful '90s pop edge, but yet again both sport Even's distinct feel for warm sound, on-point grooves and ear-catching hook-lines. "Media Vision" is a 12 minute, slow-burning, syncopated killer of almost Metro Area-esque proportions.

Øyvind Morken ventures into the functional aspects of dance music for his Invisible Objects EP. "Invisible Objects" repeats catchy melodic phrases over driving rhythm sections before the main melodic phrase drifts off its central pitch in a woolly distraction from the precise rhythm section. The Theramin-like motif of "Unholy Trance" creates a hazy B-movie aesthetic against the backdrop of a primal pulse. The lusciously serene "New Age of Smokin," a cover of L.B. Bad's classic Nu Groove record from 1989, precedes the final ominous statement, "Dance of the Drunk," which blends an electro beat with metallic bass-stabs.

Double LP version. Includes download code. A leopard can't change its spots and Magnus International earned his spots in the hue sequence of Oslo's disco scene. "Disco is the single thread that runs through all electronic dance music." After an inconsistent hiatus from recording, the Norwegian DJ finally dons the producer cap for his debut album. Echo to Echo is the artist's magnum opus, taking on epic proportions in its album-length narrative. Prins Thomas's Full Pupp family plays hosts to Magnus's infectious disco arrangements, as it has done since Magnus International and Danny "Blackbelt" Anderson first worked together as Kalle, Magnus & Daniel in the mid-2000s. Tracing a line from those early days through his first solo work (the 2006 Kosmetisk 12"), Echo to Echo sees the producer combining the foundation of his sound with influences including Warp's early catalog, transposing it into the singular voice that is Magnus International. "I wanted to go back to Techno from my Youth." Borrowing inspiration from the likes of LFO and Aphex Twin, Magnus spent two years in the studio refining a hybrid album in which disco is deeply ingrained, but which grows its own spots with the acid-infected synth work and inventive beat-arrangements that were the signature trademarks of those early pioneers. Titles like "Big Red" and "Echo to Echo" are clear nods to these demi-gods of music, which Magnus International makes his own in the context of a disco long-player. It's an album built on the foundation of Magnus's strengths as an experienced producer, innovator, and DJ. Forged in the cauldron of techno's rich history, with Magnus's distinct style playing host, Echo to Echo takes the listener on journey that transcends time. "If I can hop into my Delorean and punch in a destination, five years from now, I want my music to have the same effect." Magnus International didn't change his spots for his debut; he merely grew into them, and Echo to Echo sees them at their most impressive.
