KiNK's heavyweight "Detunator" from 2011 gets three re-workings, courtesy of Mathias Kaden, Adam Port and La Force, who all add their own unique touches of genius to the package. Kaden sits in his pro-remixer chair and creates a soaring, melodic and soulful interpretation in his "909 the Drumqueen Remix." Pumping and full of energy, it's a prime-time moment for the positive dancefloors.

Matthias Meyer presents three brand-new stand-out cuts that venture deeper into his extraordinary sonic world. "Miss Appre Gate" recalls the sound that Meyer has become synonymous with: warm, driving and detailed modern house. "Insomnia" is a U.S.-flavored house cut with warm pads and tripped-out vocal elements. "The Rear Window" fuses typically crisp, urgent percussion with a memorable harp theme. Enchanting, haunting and inspiring, this hypnotic rollercoaster says so much, all wrapped up with an unmistakable production sheen.

"Leipzig based electronic duo Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt are currently seeing their stocks rise with acclaimed releases on Mirau, Permanent Vacation and now Liebe*Detail Spezial. 'Milk & Honey' comes in two great versions from the enigmatic pair, along with two very special remixes from Ireland's hot export and deep thinker John Daly."

"Berlin-based Adam Port, part of the Souvenir family and already a well known name in the capital, hands in a wonderful, rejoiceful slice of future afro-house for Liebe Detail Spezial. The tracks are based on the original 'Enoralehu,' performed by Gigi (Ejigayehu Shibabaw), which was released in 1996 on her Album Gold & Wax (produced by Bill Laswell). A: Adam Port feat. Gigi - Enoralehu (club mix). Featuring the haunting, near-angelic vocals of Ethiopian singer and songwriter Ejigayehu 'Gigi' Shibabaw, and a colorful handful of original percussion borrowed from Gigi's original, 'Enoralehu' is a richly woven treat for the senses. Uplifting, beautiful and solemn, the track begins with a long snaking intro capturing the unmistakable vocal hook, before unwinding and opening up into a dramatic tale of modern ethnic-inspired club music."

"You'll believe us if we tell you this project has been in the pipeline for quite some time. Kept secret until now, this very special summer-vibed track is ready for release. Featuring the expert production skills of Berlin's original Märtini Brös. and the in-demand vocal talents of Florian Schirmacher. 'Communicate' is a pretty little ditty indeed. A calming story driven down the often fast-paced road of house music, from a Berlin open air to a lazy day in Hamburg, its reduced arrangement, touching melodies and stirring vocals leave us needing more. Florian's vocal performance is wonderful, a totally smooth, unpretentious story teller who has enjoyed a busy and varied musical career. Indeed so have the 'Brös, and we're tempted to say this is one of the most exciting collaborations they've produced to date!"

"Our Spezial imprint celebrates its 10th release with a superb insight into the dramatic, dub-techno meets jazz-house sound of Leipzig's Sven Tasnadi & Juno6. Having already both released on Liebe*Detail individually, the two producers and close friends found inspiration in each other's broad talents and unique sound ideas, resulting in two very special new cuts and a stunning remix by fellow townsman Marko Fürstenberg. 'Tranquillo' is a roaming, multi-timbral trip into playful, jazz-inspired modern deep house. Moving and shaking, and full of unexpected and energetic twists and turns, it's a balmy, high class musical adventure that's complemented perfectly by its B-side partner, 'Hotel Seeblick.' Where as 'Tranquillo' is all about quick moving segments and energetic phrases, '...Seeblick' sees the pair's love for building, uplifting club tracks come into fruition. Infused with the warm echoes of Detroit, and the deep history of Germany's underground scene, this drifting and climactic jam will work wonders for DJs who love to build the tension!"

"Following the success of the rolling summer deepness of Ed Davenport's Eyespeak, a multi-purpose house jam that nonchalantly pre-empted the current trend for deeper, more classic vibes, we introduce the next Liebe*detail Spezial remix package: Frankfurt's notorious Motorcitysoul (needing no introduction thanks to their highly acclaimed output of late) turn in a grooving remix that stays very true to the original, yet injects their unique ear for detail, subtle, stripped arrangements and classic German house sensibilities. It's a very functional, 'heads down, hands up' track that will find its way to the dancefloor at many moments throughout the night!"

"Hamburg's beloved Liebe*Detail label has ushered some of today's most sought-after names into the spotlights of the world's best dancefloors. One such artist who is currently rising up the ranks is young Matthias Meyer. A strong member of the Liebe*Detail family and a regular on the German underground scene, his first two releases with the label explored extravagant and dramatic realms to great success. Now, following his recent hit Tout Va Bien, highly praised across the board for its warming, building sentiments, Matthias joins forces in the studio with compadre Patlac, another promising new producer also from his home town of Lüneburg. Free-flowing and full of endless atmosphere, 'Skipper' begins with warmth and rolling atmosphere, tracking over itself with texture and color. A complex undergrowth of static hisses and rich organic percussion build towards long and teasing breaks in the bass energy. The pair's use of deep house stabs and long, drifting ethnic string phrases lifts the track high into the rafters, creating the perfect late night trip into another place. Fluid and full of dynamics, musicality and love, 'Skipper' is already proving its worth. Mannheim's Cecille Record's boss Nick Curly has passionately raised the bar for the label's deep-house-come-minimal sound, and now proves his remixing skills here with solid functionality. Chunky, room-filling drums roll over and over while the key stabs from 'Salt City' are satisfyingly thrown to the floor."

"Alexander Geiger, Cologne-based pop lover, Firm head honcho and most recently DJ T's new producer, is Nass. Under this moniker he explores a very reduced, track-y aesthetic, confining himself to the absolutely necessary and a layering technique derived from Wild Pitch. Accordingly, his remix starts with a spare thumping beat which slowly starts spinning towards a climax which adds a piercingly psychotic note to the dreamy chimes of the original, making for a light striking, frictional contrast heating up dancefloors all over. Leipzig-based Daniel Stefanik, best known for his work on labels such as Moon Harbour and Cargo Edition, seizes Lawrence's deep, atmospheric suggestion in a congenial way by transferring it into moody, dubby realms. He proceeds in such a wonderfully subtle manner, you hardly notice the almost 10 minutes of his remix passing by. It is most remarkable how he manages to pair a very serious psychedelic atmosphere with a soft airiness. This track is down-to-earth and reaches for the stars at the same time,"

"After Liebe Detail Spezial has been launched very successfully with a series of Move D remixes, the label now presents its first proper artist EP. It is coming from Greek producer Argy, who already made himself known through various releases on Poker Flat. '1985' on the A side generously spreads an old school vibe by using massive organ stabs. At the same time it couldn't sound less modern. '1985' is a wonderfully driving, up to date house hit. On the flip Jerome Sydenham does what he does best with his remix. He manages to stay close to the original, yet streamlining it into one of his very hypnotic and powerful dubbed out jams. Argy then finishes the EP off with a track simply called 'Tool' where he focuses on a massive percussive groove floating through gloomy, spaced out atmospheres."
